Rumba is Excellent

I had dinner at Rumba today. The food was excellent and the staff was exceptional. We ordered the duck empanada and the artichoke as an appetizer and they were both delicious. We then ordered the Dominican Ribs and the Mahi Mahi both were superb. The Ribs just feel off the bone and are the house... read more

The food there is beyond yum, you will not be disappointed no matter what you choose to eat. And as for the drinks, get the rum punch which they have perfected. You can escape a little of the madness of life by relaxing on their deck outside enjoying the view. Cheers!

The food is wonderful. The drinks are even better. I had the best mohitos outside of Cuba. They have a shuttle bus that will pick you up and bring you home, which on eastern Long Island is a lovely thing, It is crowded and noisy and you might have to wait a bit for a table, but this just says... Atmosphere is great. Food is consistently good. I love the Prickly Pear Margarita, Pulled Rib Taco & Grilled Artichoke. Parking can be dicey - especially in High Season & on weekends

Nice waterfront spot... Gets very crowded. Food is ok. Best for outdoor dining. You need to park down the street and take a shuttle bus. View is great.

My husband and I were sent to this restaurant by our family as a gift. (We rarely eat out.) We had the best rum punch we've every tasted. The coconut risotto was refreshing. The banana rum was very smooth. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. If you decide to try the place out you must ask for Stephanie. Stephanie delivered... More

This place is amazing. Never had a bad dish there, much less a bad meal. Always delicious, innovative food at reasonable prices with great service in a pleasant ambiance with lovely water view by day. Can be hard to talk on busy nights. Lunch is our favorite and we've had dozens of them there.

Great mahi mahi with mashed potato and spinach topped w shrimp and a creole reduction, Great entrees and appetizers in a Caribbean vibe restaurant. Feel like you are in the Caribbean and have some house rum punch. This is great food. I live lucky enough to walk and go often. !!! Good happy hour prices ,

Food great; especially fish tacos and duck empanadas. Wonderful sangrias; eating in or out, nice atmosphere. Good, friendly service. Come early or be prepared to wait. Kid friendly.

This place was surprisingly great. We went to grab a quick bite and were wowed. My daughter and are are anti-spicy food and reluctantly agreed to try the coconut/siracha wings and we loved them so much we got a second order. They had a little tingle but we're DELICIOUS. We also each had a taco which were very good as... More
