Excellent food, cool atmosphere

I have had the privilege of dining at Rumba countless times. The food is consistently excellent, with a menu that is quite different than all other restaurants in the area. The rum punch is to die for, as is the on the rocks Pina Colada (that one is a MUST try). It is a bit small, so during the... read more

We had a reservation for evening. We were turned away by extremely rude valet. Restaurant looked lovely and menu was great. Maybe make sure you have parking for reserved guests

Limited menu, crowded and and a bit expensive. Food was good as was service. Very rustic, almost worn. A remodel is call for. Younger age group would enjoy this more.

At the recommendation of our adult kids, we headed out to Rumba for lunch after a few hours at the beach. We sat outside and enjoyed appetizers and a few cocktails. My favorite were the wings! So good! Rumba has a great vibe, great food and excellent staff. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

not the usual dishes, not the big dishes - taste and service wonderful, The caribbean salad was delicious and the kids steak is unbeatable.

We enjoyed the food at this crowded eatery. Sat outside to take in the waterfront along the bay. Burgers were good. Fish tacos were very good. Drinks were average.

On a warm Saturday night in August, two couples had a delightful dinner at Rumba's sister restaurant, Cowfish. As the night was still young and the venue on the water so beautiful, after dinner we decided to take the free barge over to Rumba. We didn't mind having to wait a short while, as everyone in line was quite pleasant... More

Great spot on the bay with views and wonderful food and setting. Service is very good. Sit on the deck and try the fish tacos - one of my favorites! Never disappointed.

We stopped in for dinner on our way back from Montauk. The vibe of this restaurant is very relaxed, the view is beautiful, and the food was good. We ate outdoors on a beautiful breezy day. The ribs and pulled pork taco were excellent as was everything else we had.

Taking some days off for our 31st wedding anniversary, we figured today we'd head east around 20 miles to check out Rumba, which was highly recommended to us. The second we arrived, we loved it. Having been to St. John, Virgin Islands a few times, this place rang true. We had burgers, which were super-delicious, with perfect fries. The rum... More
