This is a fun place! It is lively and a bit loud, although we ate outside and were able to talk. Inside, with the live music, it might be more difficult. Very young and helpful waitstaff. Very creative menu, and most importantly: a great cocktail list and killer margaritas. A wicked selection of desserts, too. The patrons are of every... More

Great food and atmosphere! A little slice of paradise. Best part is that you can take the pirate both back and forth from Cowfish !

We had never been all the way down this street and what a surprise to find this "island hideaway" on this block. Great view, island music, fun colorful building....we went in and it just got better. Seated immediately at a shady table outside, brought drinks immediately and then attentive service throughout the meal, water refilled, etc. Two of us had... More

Food was wonderful, no specials just the regular menu. Coconut Risotto is my favorite along with the fish tacos! Yum..

We've been all over the Caribbean. Would not call this authentic. Ordered burgers and tuna along with other items. Burgers were mushy and tuna served was cold. Expected much better tasting and higher quality as per other reviews. If you're just going there for drinks and the view then this would be your spot. But I would not recommend this... More

Go on a beautiful day to this wonderful small place right on the Shinnecock canal! Awesome views, great drinks and great Caribbean food. You can also take a complimentary tiki boat to their other great restaurant-Cowfish! David H. knows what he is doing! :)

We visited Rumba on a beautiful August afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. The restaurant, which is on the small side, was somewhat crowded but we were able to get seated outside. The setting - on an outdoor deck overlooking the water - was great. We started out with a nacho appetizer which was served with guacamole and a cheese/jalapeño... More

6 of us and each just loved whatever they had ordered. I had the crab cakes and they were terrific especially accompanied by a delicious raspberry mojito. My girlfriend had a key lime martini and was in heaven. My husband had the pulled pork....so good. There was nothing left on any of our plates........ Great deck for eating overlooking a... More

My husband and I ate at Rumba on a Sunday evening. It was crowded but we got a seat at the counter outside. The food is slightly overpriced for the portions and presentation you receive on your plate. I ordered the Tuna burger. It was very mushy and I didn't taste too much tuna, mostly onions and other fillers. The... More

Really nice cool restaurant. Great music and vibe. Drinks were nice and strong. Had mojitos. Duck empanadas and artichoke for apps. Got one of each taco. All were really good! Free boat ride to sister spot, cowfish. Great service. Reservations via yelp a must. Valet parking.
