We ate here 3 times while stopping at Bowens and never had a bad meal. They had a childrens menu (a must for us!) and plenty of choice. The Rib Eye steak on steak night was a particular favourite for $17. Also had a good range of draught beers. If you are stopping here, give it a try!

My wife and I stopped in here for a quick drink after an early dinner. Drafts, pouring wines, and well drinks were $3 at the bar. They had an excellent selection of drafts, I think there were about 16 different taps. Our bartender Brendan was excellent, very attentive and funny. I will stopping in here more frequently in the future.

Great burgers and apps. Irish dishes are good too. Stick to that though. Made the mistake of ordering a flounder sandwich (duh my mistake to order that in a bar). It was dreadful. But the burgers are great! Place is always busy and service can be pretty slow at times.

I can't help but think of Buckleys as the Local Bar, and a great local bar at that, but the times we have eaten there have always been wonderful! We have shown up at weird times with lots of people, babies, young children, etc. and have always been welcomed and fed. The food has always been very good and varied... More

Buckleys is the best beer and bar food in town. It also remains the busiest pub in town during the winter. The bartenders are friendly and its definitely a locals place. The burgers and soups are really good as well as the wings. Def worth stopping in for comfort food or watching sporting events.

We ate here on our first trip to the Hamptons and were delighted to find a refuge from the overly fussy cuisine most places offered. We got the broiled seafood platters and a bowl of clam chowder. Everything was really good, served hot and fresh by an attentive but busy staff. Would definitely return.

I have had lunch here about eight times and the food has always been well cooked and served with genuine friendliness. this is a pub that every town should long for. you get honest food of a very high standard. fish and chips, hearty beef stew in a crispy bread loaf, chicken pot pie all would grace much more expensive venues.... The service is very slow here and the beer is less than a pint, but still costs as much. I wouldn't go back there again.
