Indian Cove is now CowFish whose management also own Rumba's. Normally very crowed during the Hampton's summer season. This can certainly impact food quality, buy all in all one usually has a fun time in spite of those crowds. Not everything menu wise is recommended but after a few visits one can better navigate those consistently better presentations. Normally the... More

Soggy caesar salad, croutons mushy with dressing. A lovely piece of flounder ruined by too much breading. Too bad, it's a great location. Restaurant is now called "Cowfish".

Touted as imaginative food, we went to Cowfish. Flounder very fresh(good point), but overwhelmed by thick coating of Progresso Italian flavored crumbs. Haven't been subjected to this since the '80's. Caesar salad good but enhanced with possibly the worst crouton ever conceived. Had to actually spit it out. Nice location overlooking water. Un-nice food. Also blaring music tried desperately to... Ok, so we were staying in Hampton Bays, and we had heard about Rumba, and we went there for lunch (Rumba is the sister restaurant to Cowfish). We had asked around the town about recommendations on where to go for "cool places on the water"--and Cowfish had come up a couple of times--from the locals who were interested themselves in... More

newly re-opened within the last month or so, The Indian Cove Restaurant is now called Cowfish. Same owners as Rhumba, about 1/2 mile away. Same beautiful setting overlooking the Shinnecock Canel and surrounding marinas. Food was great and I highly recommend eating here. Service was just a little bit off, but I am convinced this will be addressed. Wouldn't venture... More

The restaurant closed this winter, is re-opening as Cowfish, with a short ferry service to sister-restaurant Rumba.

Service was a slow as a slug! Horrible waiting times. The food was decent, good. but not worth the wait.
