I am a local person to the area, so I am familiar with the local restaurants. My husband and I went several years ago when they first opened up to give it a try. I love trying all sorts of food. Portuguese or not. The food and the service was horrible. We waited FOREVER for our food and the place... More

Our meal started out great with a special soup of bread, garlic (lots), cilantro and egg in a chicken stock. It was delicious, and with a side salad could be a meal in itself. Our main courses let us down somewhat. We ordered a tilapia in a "light" brown sauce with shrimp. The portion was huge, and the tilapia cooked... More

This family run restaurant has consistently good food served by young family members, who are very capable and add a nice touch. You won't go wrong here.

My wife and I came here based on the Tripadvisor recommendations. Here's a few things about the restaurant to keep in mind: It's really Portuguese food. It has some items that are Italian on it, like Chicken Parm, but I think you need to approach this restaurant from the point that it is not fully Italian. And there's nothing wrong... More

This Restaurant is excellent! The food, service, family - just love this place and not sure why they aren't busier than their competition, because they are clearly better than most! Love this place and I would highly recommend them!

I went with my boyfriend, we were looking for a quiet place to eat and good food. The family owned atmosphere is really comforting, it's not loud, informal and cheesy like many family owned businesses with people yelling across the room. The kids are very well dressed with slacks and ties (even for the owners school age daughter), they are... More

This is a family run restaurant. You are greeted that way as well. The food is a choice of Italian or Portuguese. After discussing with the waitress about choices it was obvious that Portuguese was the way to go. Prepared slightly different with unfamiliar spices -the Food was Great !!!! This is the time of year to eat at Ciao... More

Can't imagine why anyone would pass this one by. The food is cooked fresh and portions large. Nothing is over seasoned which is a plus for me as I always find everything salty. The daughter who plays waitress is very knowledgeable in the menu and extensive wine list. It's hard to find entrees that start at $15.95 that serve up... More

Great food, huge portions and lovely people. They pour a nice drink too.The service was great and the food was not only good, but very reasonably priced. They don't get too crowded, but I think that will change soon. Quickly becoming my favorite in the area.
