We were a party of five and the place was empty around 8:45 AM on a Monday morning in late June 2014. There were approximately 4 servers sitting having breakfast when we came in. The pancakes were not cooked enough in the center, it was actually cold. I got up to find a server & explained the situation. She said... More

Stayed for two nights in off season..still pricey but sooo comfortable and tranquil! I grew up in Hampton Bays and remember this place from my youth. The restaurant has the best breakfast anywhere in the Hamptons.

I used to go here as a kid all the time, definitely not what i remember. No one was at the hostess counter so we sat our selves after almost 10 minutes. The server was unfriendly, uninterested and dismissive. The both orders of French toast were soggy, mushy and had no flavor barely could get it on the fork. $5.00... More

The space is really nice...especially the outdoor patio. The food was delicious and they were child-friendly. The service was fantastic from beginning to end. They were really busy so we had about a 20 min wait. One of staff brought my 2yo daughter a piece of cinnamon toast to hold her over while we waited. They also have a little... More

Hampton Maid is only open for breakfast & closed in the winter. Always a long line to get in. Views of the bay across the hwy. Cottages are also on the property for a week or week-end stay. Breakfast is pricey but could do better with the food for what you get. Small portions, friendly staff.

We took our car in for servicing one morning and walked to a well-known restaurant in Hampton Bays for breakfast while the car was being worked on. The Hampton Maid, established in 1959, offers lodging, a great little gift ship and a restaurant that only serves breakfast (www.hamptonmaid.com). When you serve breakfast that is this good, you only need to... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in September. Rooms are comfortable and cute wooden little huts most with veranda or balcony from what I could see. Service was great when asking reception to help with bookings etc. we got a $30 voucher for breakfast which we had the first morning. Breakfast was nice but I wouldn't have paid full price... More

I was staying with friends in Hampton Bays and they suggested breakfast here at the Hampton Maid. They said it was the best around and were ravenous for the speciality - corned beef hash! They had that and enjoyed it immensely. I had the Eggs Benedict and while it was good, it wasn't out of this world for the price.... More
