Hampton Maid is only open for breakfast & closed in the winter. Always a long line to get in. Views of the bay across the hwy. Cottages are also on the property for a week or week-end stay. Breakfast is pricey but could do better with the food for what you get. Small portions, friendly staff.

We took our car in for servicing one morning and walked to a well-known restaurant in Hampton Bays for breakfast while the car was being worked on. The Hampton Maid, established in 1959, offers lodging, a great little gift ship and a restaurant that only serves breakfast (www.hamptonmaid.com). When you serve breakfast that is this good, you only need to... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in September. Rooms are comfortable and cute wooden little huts most with veranda or balcony from what I could see. Service was great when asking reception to help with bookings etc. we got a $30 voucher for breakfast which we had the first morning. Breakfast was nice but I wouldn't have paid full price... More

I was staying with friends in Hampton Bays and they suggested breakfast here at the Hampton Maid. They said it was the best around and were ravenous for the speciality - corned beef hash! They had that and enjoyed it immensely. I had the Eggs Benedict and while it was good, it wasn't out of this world for the price.... More

Every resort town I have ever visited all over the world has one special breakfast place. In the Hamptons between Bridgehampton and Westhampton Beach this is that place. The service is beyond outstanding. The food is as good as your mother used to make if your mother was a breakfast cook at a fine hotel. They handle large groups like... More

The grounds here are stunning. The breakfast was good and the staff helpful. We stayed in a room on the upper floor in the side of the windmill. It was quite at night and a short drive from attractions.

The location is OK, you'll be about 20min drive from beaches and 15min walk from marinas in Hampton Bays. The rooms are located in cabins on the well kept grounds with decking areas to sit out on and pine forest around. There's a small pool, which I haven't used, so can't comment on that, but nothing spectacular from what I... More

Considering the fact that the morning prior we want to a diner and paid more for less quality food, I didn't mind paying $22.50 per person, the freshness was well worth it, great service, choice of fresh berries or watermelon salad, I had the eggs Benedict which was made with real Canadian bacon and homemade hollandaise, the eggs were so... We have been several times to this hotel and love it, it is tucked away and although just off the highway it feels very isolated, the rooms are lovely, large and airy. The pool area is very inviting with a shady lounge area for hanging out or reading etc. The breakfast at the restaurants are outstanding with homemade muffins etc.... More
