I had purchased a half price coupon at The Coyote Cafe for their wine fiesta for two. My girlfriend and I decided to use the coupon for our next get together. Pleasantly surprised, got a bottle of wine (our choice) and their appetizer sampler. Our friendly waitress brought us a bowl of salsa with chips, yummy. She also dropped off... More

Great food. Lots of vegetarian choices. Great drinks. Great atmosphere. Excellent place to get authentic Mexican. NOT a chain by any means.

Love the coyote cafe, I've known Jeff the owner for years and go back for his great food and friendly staff. Meals start with a simple salsa and chips that are beyond addicting. Good drink selection including local and international beers along with a full bar Meals are oversized and delicious and are very accurate to the description provided in... More

First time here. Can't say they queso was any good but our meals were great! The shredded beef was very very good, in enchiladas, taco, and burrito! The chunk chicken in the taco was flavorful. The green chile sauce definitely had a kick but good! Lastly, both desserts were a good finish for our table. Wish the apple chimis had... More

Loved the atmosphere when you first walk in. A lively weekend crowd, Dimmed lighting and subtle music. Everyone's entree was big enough to share with each person at the table and have enough for leftovers. There were plenty of options for everyone, including our vegetarian guest. Definitely a must for WNY when it comes to Mexican.

We had a wonderful time with a group of friends, seating was almost immediate and drinks were brought out promptly. The menu was easy to understand and if we required any assistance the wait staff was readily available to offer explanations and opinions on dishes. The food was served hot after a short wait and a second round of drinks... More

Not bad mexican food but lacks presentation. I love their chips and salsa. The ambivance is a little dead since the hostess retired. The restaurant seems dated, dreary and needs better lighting. Otherwise, pretty good and great music. How impressive that the owner jeff is responding to reviews!! Two thumbs up to jeff!!!

Went with 3 friends for a late lunch after a funeral service. Waitress was very nice and suggested items that were specials. Was not pushy towards alcoholic beverages, and we either had iced tea or diet pop. Prices were reasonable for a party of 4. Good presentation of food. Highly recommended!

I've been here a few times and it never improves. The food is terrible quality and overpriced. The veggies are not fresh, the chips are stale, and everything tastes like frozen microwaved dinners.
