I have had the pleasure of dining at Daniel's for many years. Last year (2013) ownership changed and I can assure anyone that the quality of the food and service remain excellent. The atmosphere has a warmer feel, the previous owners had an almost cool decor to focus on the food. The new look is appealing. I can't describe the... More

We've been to the old Daniel's many times. Since it has always been one of our favorite restaurants and after reading the reviews since it's reopening, we decided to go there for a special occasion. The updates they made were really great. The relocation of the coat closet to the entrance way is brilliant. It opened up another window table... More

My wife and I heard great things about Daniel's so we decided to reserve there for our Anniversary. The service was amazing and the food was excellent. It is in an old house so the atmosphere is quaint and not overcrowded. It was pricey, but WELL worth it, I highly recommend eating here for dinner.

I was saddened when Chef Dan retired, and Daniel's closed. I was excited, but concerned, when I heard they were reopening. Daniel's is a favorite, and I was hopeful that the new owners and Chef could live up to my expectations. I needn't have been worried. The wine list is still quite extensive, pricey (but when isn't wine pricey when... More

Dined at Daniel's last week and everything was fabulous! Appetizers, home-made delicious soup, sea bass dinner and desserts were second to none. The wait staff is awesome and attentitive to your every need. This was a dining experience that I will repeat often! Hats off to the new chef and their attention to every detail. Food presentation is awesome. Thank... More

Six of us visited Daniel's to celebrate a birthday on a busy Saturday evening. From the moment we arrived until the time when we left, the experience was nothing but great. We were greeted a by a friendly hostess and promptly seated. Our waiter could not have done a better job. He offered suggestions when asked to do so. The... More

This was our first time back since the reopening of Daniels under new ownership and new chef and we did not find the same quality and tastes as previously.Nothing was the same or equally good.We found the food rather bland and not very exciting. The really signature food we knew is nit the same anymore. It was a disappointment for us but... We were very pleased with the entreés at Daniel's at our recent visit there. The new owners have done a good job keeping some of the favorites on the menu as well as adding some new and very delicious appetizers and other recipes. We were also pleased to see the same, familiar wait staff.

My wife and I were disappointed when the old Daniel's closed. This has always been a special place for us to have dinner. We visited the new Daniel's in January and were very happy with our experience. The new ownership brought back much of the wait staff and retained a few of the old menu items. We have always loved... One of our all-time favorites now open under new management, Daniel's has managed to retain the same high standards as in the past. It's intimate and elegant. The wait staff is outstanding, as is the food. The rack of lamb and sea bass entrees were cooked to perfection and my beet "parfait (beets, goat cheese and pistachios served in a... More
