We had been given a tip that Rhumb Line, a bar open year round in Greenport, had good food--in other words, not typical bar food. This turned out to be true, and is very welcome because anyone who visits the North Fork off season has limited restaurants to choose from. We visited twice, and the food was above average both... I liked my Swordfish "semi-caldo" with a Mediterranean topping of tomato, feta and red onion. The problem was that I had ordered a different swordfish dish, one with asparagus and rice. This was one of many service miscues that marred what could have been a nice meal - the food was pretty good. Calamari, and my wife's salad were winners.... More

Stopped here with some of my family during the Greenport Maritime Festival for cold beer and some food. We decided to eat outside and not enter the restaurant. There was an area cordoned off, so we could eat outside and watch the street festivities. We ordered beer, knockwurst, bratwurst, hot dogs, chicken fingers and New England clam chowder. The food... Quaint and quiet in the heart of Greenport! After wandering around the town shopping for a few hours, we stopped in for a drink and a few appetixers. Nice place, clean and friendly. The staff was great and service top-notch. I would definitly come back!

We stopped in after walking around Greenport. They have good pub food and a low key vibe. We loved the lobster special on Wed night. $12 bucks, you can't beat that!Friendly service too! Great place for a few drinks and a good bite.

This is a must try in Greenport NY. Food is very good and at a reasonable price for the East End of Long Island. Had lunch there on Saturday (07/26) with some friends and everyone one of us went away happy. Burgers were great, salads were also very good but you have to try their special pork chop, Just an... Actually we were on our way up Front Street thinking perhaps of going to the Japanese restaurant in Greenport and stumbled upon this restaurant. The specials, happy hour sign (4-7 pm) and menu drew us inside. We had walked past many times while strolling around Greenport, but never gave the Rhumb Line any consideration. We were happy we walked in... More

We went late on a Friday night and while the restaurant was not full the bar and outside bar were quite hopping. I had a pretty tasty blue cheese burger, and my friend had a fish and chips. The green side salad was quite good for the price point. Our waitress tried but she must have been tired from earlier... More

Food was okay for a quick bite. Skip the Mac and cheese. Nothing special - pretty much chez whiz on pasta. Servers were attentive.
