This was our second visit to Briere and it will not be our last. The food is deliciously prepared...my favorite is the spinach appetizer and as an entree I love the lobster in cognac sauce. I've also had the opportunity to taste the cod, steak , crab cake and homemade French fries...all delectable. Frank the owner makes great martinis and... More

Started the evening by waiting over an hour for table. Frank, the owner attentive-kept us happy with kava and we ordered cocktails which were excellent. Entertained by Lou , singer and guitarist- waitress was spot on. Food was very good- bistro food served with either beer- so many beer choices - or wine. We enjoyed Franks Spagetti Red merlot. Lobster... More

My fiance and I tried out Biere last weekend after reading the reviews online. Everything we read was completely spot-on. The food is phenomenal (and we are 2 serious foodies), some of the best homemade red wine I've ever had, and Frank and his daughter were so amazing and accommodating...we never wanted to leave. I actually don't want to give... More

Recently my friends and I had the pleasure of spending time in Greenport NY. a seaside town on the North Fork of LI. While there we dined in several restaurants but there is one that remains at the top of our list. We started our day at D'Latte where we were met with the aroma of fresh brewed coffee and... More

Biere, in Greenport, New York, is worth a trip from New York City. Greenport is a charming little waterfront village near the end of the North Fork of Long Island; Biere is a trip to a waterfront village in Eiurope. The propietor/chef, Frank, cooks what's fresh, what's interesting, and what's very, very good. Every night he creates new music in... More

Moules/frites is alway great. Nice beer selection. There is so much more, and it is adjacent to a pastry/coffee shop so dessert to go is always a great add-on. Popular, and under the radar

The personalized food at the food bar followed by music. The food is made to order. Very small and intimate. I will be back.

This is one of the more unique dining experiences you will ever have. Where to start..........cozy and warm, the atmosphere exudes comfort. With table seating for about 12 or so and an additional 8 or so seats at the bar, you will be treated with personalized service. Most likely, that service will include much attention from the omnipresent owner, Frank.... More

We had a great experience this past weekend at Biere's. The food was really was delicious. I had the salmon in the parchment paper. It was not farmed raised..couldn't believe it. Get this dish if you like salmon. Each dish was served hot and fresh. They had many local beers to choose from and a great wine list. The live musician... More
