What a great evening! First course: Frank's delicate butternut squash ravioli, the standard by which all future ravioli will be judged! Then the main: Rack of lamb on a bed of mashed potatoes that were much much more than mashed potatoes! The lamb was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection!

Another great meal at Biere. Perfect red snapper dish with shiitake and ginger. Try the handmade pasta. Beer lovers will be Impressed with the unique variety.. Dessert was delicious. If you are lucky, jazz guitarist Lou will be playing when you visit. This amazing musician once played with Tony Bennett and others. A great experience all around.

When we get the opportunity to go out to dinner (which sans kids is rare) we like to indulge on a really good dinner. Which means we are not afraid to spend $200. This restaurant was recommended by two greenport locals. We had planned on going to Frisky or Noah's which have never disappointed. I wish we had. The atmosphere... More

My husband and I stopped by during Shellabration. He took our money, but we noticed we received one less tasting then his buddies. If you are younger than 65, and don't know the eccentric Frank, this "special" place might not be for you. Further, the mussels were chewy and the scallops rubbery - the Frisky Oyster had me go wow,... More

This is my favorite causal north fork spot where I have eaten many times. There is something for everyone on this menu whether it be fish, meat, chicken, pasta, shellfish, and my personal favorites that are frequently daily specials...the duck breast and the scallops. I love the lighting, ambiance and have been lucky to enjoy live, soft guitar music (not... More

So a few weeks ago I was probably just like you, doing research trying to find the perfect dining experience in NorthFork for a b-day evening with friends. Let me tell you that you can stop with the researching. This place to me is what a dining experience is all about. It's intimate and cozy. There is great music, and... More

We dined at Biere on a Friday evening in late August; fortunately arrived by ~7:30pm, as it became quite crowded during our meal. Enjoyed the wine selections and excellent cuisine, as recommended by the very helpful owner.

I heard that this place was near impossible to get into and that the owner was crazy. Played golf out at Islands End in a Nor'Easter and was looking for a place to eat after a miserable day. Tried calling Biere but the phone just rang and rang. Drove into Greenport around 7:30pm, drove past the restaurant and lo and... More

Having read all the great reviews about this place we finally after a few attempts got in and boy was it worth the wait! From the grilled portobello mushroom appetizer to a amazing hazelnut gelato everything was perfect. The two main dishes a duck for my wife(best duck we both ever tasted) and a stripped bass that just was gorgeous... More
