Having read all the great reviews about this place we finally after a few attempts got in and boy was it worth the wait! From the grilled portobello mushroom appetizer to a amazing hazelnut gelato everything was perfect. The two main dishes a duck for my wife(best duck we both ever tasted) and a stripped bass that just was gorgeous... More

To begin, the appetizers that my wife and I ordered were excellent. However, we did not order entrees since appetizers were not served until 30 minutes after we were seated, which followed a one-hour wait for a table beginning at 8:00. While the owner, Frank, upon being asked how long the wait would be, told us he didn't know, it's... More

Excellent food and service mark this North Fork jewel. Although it was very crowded last Saturday night, the owner Frank made certain that we were comfy as we waited for a table. My wife and I enjoyed top drawer wines from One Woman ( a local vineyard) and excellent jazz guitar as we waited. Lovely ambiance here. We felt like... More

My boyfriend Joseph & I ate at Biere for the very first time last night. NO words can be used to describe the food nor the ambiance of this restaurant! Frank made us feel right at home from the very start. In addition, we thoroughly enjoyed Lou's amazing, relaxing guitar-playing! We absolutely cannot wait to go back (the sooner, the... More

Went with some friends, one of whom had dined here before and knew the rules before we went. Entering the the restaurant, sit on the couches and wait to be seated. The own Frank is very proud of what he has going here, and rightfully so. We sat a the high bar, and had a new Belgian beer, which was... More

We enjoyed our dinner last night at Biere (French for beer). The owner, Frank, shows up in his baseball cap and plays eenie meany miney mo and decides who sits where and when. The rest of you can wait here... By doing this he has total control over how many orders are presented to the kitchen at one time so... More

First, dont try calling to book. Frank doesnt answer the phone and "doesnt need to take bookings". The place was packed so I suppose he has a point. Took quite a white a while to get a table, order and see food (about 1.5 hours), so dont go here if you are in a hurry! Food was worth waiting for... More

Read the great reviews and had to go here. The owner, Frank, is a character and extremely hospitable. My wife started with Frank's Spaghetti Red table wine - the only red wine by the glass. Although this seemed strange, the waitress assured us it was good and it was amazing! It turns out that Frank made this 2001 vintage wine... More

We had a late dinner at this sweet restaurant in Greenport, while spending the weekend at a B&B in Cutchogue. We were wine tasting at the vineyards, shopping, and watching the water. Our hostess had recommended this restaurant. After having a few fine meals in the area, this was, by far, the best all weekend. There was a large selection... More

The food here was fantastic! The owner greets you at the door and may ask you to take a seat on the couch while he finishes serving tables. Don't be put off because when he greets you finally he will tell you where all the meat/fish/veggies for each dish comes from.... all local farms and special orders from purveyors he... More
