Best sushi on Long Island, by far. The Chef even adds a little lemongrass to the soy sauce to give it a sophisticated bit if zing. Tried all the rest and this is the best!

I have been here multiple times - at one point this was a monthly or even weekly staple for me. Lunch Specials are priced wonderfully and you get a lot of food for half the price.... More

You wouldn't expect exceptional sushi in a strip mall on Long Island. Matsuya of Great Neck will far exceed your expectations. In the last few years, with the addition of sushi chef Benjamin and his assistants, this local Japanese restaurant has consistently offered fresh, high quality sushi and especially sashimi. This is not your typical California roll slinging sushi restaurant.... More

Most apps run around $11 and entrees $16 and up so getting the soup/salad and dessert works out to be pretty good. Had the chicken teriyaki as... More

They have some great innovative roll selections and are typically very fresh. For Great Neck, I don't think there is a better Sushi Restaurant.

Warm service, delicious sushi. We tend to stick with the more standard rolls, although the special rolls are delicious. Cool fish tank spans middle of restaurant.

Heard about this place from some friends and in a nutshell... ..I loved it. Great Oyster selection (at a sushi bar !?!) , very creative rolls (for those of you who love rolls) but more importantly the fish quality was really there. Cold, Crisp and not hiding behind sauce. Even had wonderful live sea urchin in the shell. Nowadays with... More
