So good we couldn't get past the appetizers. Union Prime Part One

This place is new. New everything. New Owners, New Decor, New concept. Lovely entrance, bar area and dinning area. We took a table upper level but any area including the bar area is excellent. The wine list is excellent so we thought wine and appetizers to start. Five appetizers were ordered one... read more

Very pretty decor.... Food and service very disappointing. There are lots of steakhouses on the same street. Do yourself a favor and go to one of those! Expensive food and not worth it.

The restaurant just underwent a management change and a small facelift but it's nothing special at all. The service was all over the place and it was very clear they didn't have their act together. The prices are also extraordinarily high and totally not worth it. The food was fine but nowhere near what their prices would suggest it should... More

A great disappointment! The food was really below what should be expected and prices were very hight, especially in light of the inferior food. But worst of all was the service. If they are understaffed, or overworked that is unfortunate, but not the problem of the patron. A Saturday night out with family and friends should be a pleasant experience,... More

A good steak house but they begin to serve sushi. They are sandwiched between peter lugger and Morton.

Having been to burton and Doyle, I was anticipating an excellent steakhouse experience. We discovered that there was new ownership. The decor was totally changed from a woody atmospher to a bright somewhat Asian look. The menu had all th usuall steakhouse entries, plus a large sushi listing. The service was good, but the food was disappointing. My stuffed shrimp... More

The restaurant recently changed ownership. The retaraunt is in the process of renovation. The appearance now feels of a "club" atomosphere. The waiters and bartenders have not significantly changed. The food has maintained it's high quality.

We have been regulars since it first opened and have seen its ups and downs. But it has recently changed hands yet again and it is just not up to its glorious past. Expensive and not worth it. Food is just okay and the service is indifferent. On our last visit, a Friday night when pricey bottles of wine are... More

My husband knows good steak, and I know fresh seafood - and we both enjoyed our delicious meal at Burton & Doyle. Great wine selection, excellent service, charming atmosphere makes this restaurant a winner! We look forward to our return visit.

We started with a cold Sea Plateau for 4 which was excellent and fresh. Lobster, oysters, clams, shrimp, and lump crab meat. Service was excellent, noise level was acceptable, but I thought the overhead big screen TV did not belong in such a nice restaurant(too distracting). For a bar, it is OK but not for fine dining. The sesame crusted... More
