Clean, simple preparations of fresh ingredients make for flavorific executions. Best fish in town. Well done.
We ordered several different dishes and most were good but the chicken on the kebab was dry. The fish dishes looked good. Food is much better when eaten in the restaurant and not taken out.
the food is excellent and offers a range of options on the menu. Love the fresh fish and the early bird special. One of the best restaurants in Great Neck for the quality and the value.
I ate here twice last week. Once for lunch with a friend and then dinner with my husband. Both times the food was very good. With my husband I chose to eat in the back room and we were the only ones there though the restaurant was fairly full. The back room is lovely with an outdoor garden on one... More
We were staying in Great Neck for parents weekend at the nearby US Merchant Marine Academy and had dinner at this restaurant. It is a Greek restaurant and seemed especially so, at least to us Midwesterners. The food was excellent, so was the waiter and the service for the five of us. The table was reserved for us and located... More
Walked in during local festival on a Sunday afternoon without reservations to this charming white table clothed restaurant. Friendly servers, authentic Greek food - fresh, not overtly spicy. Hummus and pita, calamari, grape leaves, spanikopita - complementary dessert. Loved the coffee mugs!
We had a lovely birthday celebration in this quiet restaurant. Although the menu mostly features fish and seafood, there are enough choices for the non-fish fans. We started with a nice bottle of wine and an appetizer featuring shrimp, octopus, and squid. We also ordered a large salad complete with feta, olives, and the most delicious tomatoes, fresh from the... More
This in an authentic Greek style restaurant. The staff is very welcoming. The food is good. There is a prix fix menu that is a very good option. There is also a nice wine selection.
Gracious space with low music, room between tables, clean white linens. Hummus and pita given to all. Salad with pear big enough to split for appetiser. Fish special with crispy skin tasty and plentiful. Chicken and mashed potato also good. Restaurant also gives small pastries for dessert.
Found on TA. Rated well. Walked in with no rez. No problem. Service was good but not intrusive. Food was really good! NOT over spiced. .so you could taste the food. Very nice. Unique Greek wines ....but best of all it was pretty quiet so dinner conversations were at socially acceptable volumes with no need to text people at the... More
