Had steak and eggs, steak quality poor, french fries cold and not fresh; recommendation order eggs and their special bread, if you go....others seemed the enjoy the food, but probably will not return. Yes, pricey, but knew about the prices before going to restaurant.

A casual dinner night out with friends (3 couples) turned into a wonderful surprise. Imagine, an uncrowded restaurant (table wise) where conversation was easy even when the delightful cabaret singer came on! None of us had ever been to Lola before, so we ordered two courses of shared everything. First course: a wild mushroom pizza tart, Moroccan Lamb Tacos, and... More

This small neighborhood restaurant in Great Neck can stand up against any restaurant in the city. The menu has a number of small plates to be shared and each has been a success. There were 5 of us on our last visit, and I think that we tried every small dish.

the food was very good at Lola -- an interesting menu that should satisfy almost every diner -- the problem is that it can get very noisy on a Saturday night

Really enjoyed this place. Good salads, foie grois and the flat bread is to die for. Not a kids place but they are accommodating if need be.

Overpriced bad food and uncaring management. I had dinner at this place on Feb 28th '14 with three guests. We chose our meals from the regular dinner menu, not the small plates.. which for some reason is not on their website (or I just can’t find it !) I had the Duck breast (I think it was $37.00) and one... More

Many places you can find nice trendy atmosphere, many places you can find great selections of wine, many places you can get great service, many places even have caberet singers to entertain you and many places have great appetizers/delish entrees...but to get it all in one restaurant? Here's the place! Now why do I say Duck is King here? Because... More

This restaurant is a sleeper. Michael Ginor, the chef and owner, is the inventor of the Lola duck, hence the name of the restaurant. He is the sole purveyor of Hudson Valley foie gras, the only foie gras produced in this country. The food is great and worthy of being in Manhattan. The service is sweet but not exactly professional.... More

A fun place to have dinner. Very innovative food. The chef/owner has traveled extensively in Thailand and uses many of their flavors in his cooking.
