Good

The food is good. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, hot dogs with their "famous" meat sauce, curly and french fries. It was good. The staff was friendly. I wouldn't say that their meat sauce was amazing but it was really good. The only thing I didn't care for was the onions. They chopped them too... read more

Home style cooking at its best. Fast friendly service, well prepared and tasty food. You are dinning out but its like home for the locals like me. The menu has a good range of offerings with daily specials. Food like mom made, not real fancy just darn good with good size portions. This is a local favorite with lots of... More

I wouldn't say that their meat sauce was amazing but it was really good. The only thing I didn't care for was the onions. They chopped them too big instead of mincing them.... More

My husband and I brought our 18 month old daughter for breakfast on Saturday morning around 9 a.m. and it wasn't too busy yet. They are very family friendly, with a high chair readily available. It's a very cozy atmosphere, like you would hope to find in a local diner. We got a table right away and were immediately approached... More

The service was great. The food was good and hot. I had the shepherds pie and was very good. The deserts are the best all homemade. Tollhouse pie was out of this world.

Not a bad place to dine. Been here once before and really enjoyed it. This time around, not so much. The food was good, I like the atmosphere, but feel that we were seated then kind of ignored because we weren't ready to order. Our waitress was none too quick about coming around for coffee refills. So-so on the service.... More

Stopped by yesterday morning for a Bacon and Cheddar Omelet and Loved it. Even though it was busy was only waited five minutes for a seat if that and service was outstanding.

My wife and I stopped into Steve's after doing some errands in Glens Falls, NY. We were very pleased with our meal. We both got exactly what we wanted. My wife had a nice omelet and I had a pair of hot dogs with meat sauce and potato salad.

Nice friendly atmosphere. Standard diner fare. Went here during Balloon Festival and the wait was reasonable.

I was on my way to the Hyde Museum and found Steve's Place nearby. I stopped in for a late Sunday breakfast. It had all the hallmarks of a well-managed local restaurant, clean, well-lighted, nicely laid out. The wait staff were friendly, courteous, and attentive. Perusing the menu, I noticed the "home-made corned beef hash," which I chose without hesitation.... More

We were passing through town and looking for a place to grab lunch. Steve's looked nice from the outside and had plenty of cars in the parking lot (usually a good sign). The restaurant was very clean and the wait staff attentive. We both had the soup of the day - clam chowder, which was very tasty. A few less... More
