We have eaten here twice. The bakers make good bread, and when that was all the place did it was worth a stop for the bread. But the sandwiches have gotten very expensive, and just aren't worth the price.

On a sunny clear day we found ourselves in Glens Falls, NY. A farmer's market was underway but we found this little café for something to eat. At the corner of Elm and Exchange Streets, this restaurant had good spacing between tables with a pleasant crowd of customers. I went for the Chef's Whim, a half-sandwich and soup deal, while... Soup, sandwiches and baked goods are the mainstay of this restaurant. The breads and biscotti are wonderful. The sandwich selection is always unique and has high quality ingredients. Breakfast offering are absolutely delicious. This is one place that we have been to over 30 times. We never leave without fresh bread and sweet treats. Books surround customers and offer the... More

I eat here frequently. Delicious homemade soups and breads. Interesting and consistently good food. Always fresh ingredients. Staff is friendly and food is nicely presented. Love the casual atmosphere. The currant scones are to die for!

Great sandwiched and soups. Hard to beat with high quality ingredients and wonderful bread. Curried chicken sandwich is amazing and the coffee drinks are made well.

Rock Hill Bakery was probably responsible for the emergence of artisan breads in the Saratoga/Lake George region several years ago. It used to be the only place you could buy unusual gourmet breads and was often sold in local supermarkets before they figured out there was a market for it and maybe they should bake it themselves. Nevertheless, they still... More

Tight quarters when full, but cozy tight. Feels as though you're in a big city cafe. Out of this world grilled cheese and delicious soups.

I ate here a couple weeks ago and ordered the grown-up grilled cheese which was delicious. However, the service wasn't great. Our waiter came over and rudely asked what we wanted instead of greeting us. He also threw a pen on our table to sign our bill, it fell on the floor. He watched us pick it up and he... More

We had lunch here, and enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day to buy loaves of bread and pastry as gifts. It's often hard to find vegetarian/vegan options in upstate NY, but they had several good choices. I had a terrific sandwich and my husband had very good soup. Desserts were good too. Although they were... More

We were on vacation and we went to Glens Falls to visit the Hyde Collection, but first we parked our car downtown looking for a restaurant for lunch. We stumbled upon the Rock Hill Bakery and decided to eat there. It ws wonderful. My wife had a veggie sandwich - I had a toasted cheese sandwich - it was the... More
