Great food, Awful beer!

Been there twice! Food was super, service pretty good, nice atmosphere. I've tried probably seven of their beers. ALL of them had this weird Listerine taste to them. I've sampled at least 500 craft beers, so I do have some experience with craft beers. Something weird going on with theirs. Go for... read more

My wife and I came to Coopers Cave to try the IPA. We decided to order Nachos with Chili, when they arrived the chips were burnt. When we went to pay for the nachos the price on the ticket was more than what was on the Menu. We brought this to the barmaid and she proceeded to explain how it... More

While visiting family in Upstate New York, we decided to visit this restaurant as it had come highly recommended. The food, as advertised, was excellent! We enjoyed the handcrafted beer, soda, and homemade ice cream. The menu had many selections from pub fare to full dinners. Our concern was with the waitress we received. She regularly forgot to bring our... More

Pub style atmosphere. Great food selection fresh ingredients at a fair price. The menu offered both dinner and pub fare. The servings were large and everyone was pleased

Nice selection of beers. Everything from ales to a stout. A very full menu with lots of choices salads, wraps, burgers and regular entrees. Our food was all good. The fries could have been warmer. The sodas do not have free refills which is kind of a negative. Yummy looking dessert menu with plenty of homemade ice cream and other... More

10 reviews 5.0 star rating 12/13/15 I don't know why I've never reviewed Cooper's Cave before; I've been going a few times a year for about the past five, and it's always great. First, though, a note about the entrance. It was intended to look like the entrance to a cave (Cooper's Cave, obviously), but if it were painted pink... More

You MUST HAVE the Buffalo Chicken Soup. You'll be longing for it for ever. LOVE the Chopped Salad, I ask for no onions. ANY ice cream is awesome. Almond Joy ice cream is so good with a hot fudge sundae.

Nice place for a casual dinner. Staff is well trained and attentive. Bartenders know how to make a good drink. All that said the food is good but priced a little on the high side for the location. Also, the beer is not a reason to go there. If good craft beer is what you're looking for there are better... More
