Quaint place!

When you walk into the diner it's like walking straight into history. The cable car is still in tact and the turquoise booths and pink blinds adds lots of character! The coffee was a little weak for me but the service was good and the food was pretty good as well. NOTE: if you order onions in your... read more

Went out for breakfast with a couple of friends, not a special occasion, just to get together. We agreed to meet here at a certain time. They arrived first, diner was nearly empty. Waitress offered to seat them, "Two...?" "No," they said, "we're expecting one more..." The waitress stated restaurant policy was to seat diners only when the entire party... More

I like Johnny B's dinner. The menu is varied and I eaten there for breakfast & lunch. However, I am a stickler for "Old Diner" food and a great diner should have homemade corned beef hash, they don't. Also, the home fries need an update. They need to experiment a bit with this basic. Otherwise, you will not be disappointed... More

This is our weekend go-to spot for a late breakfast, feasting on Apple-cinnamon or blueberry pancakes, with the occasional Belgian waffle, but always with a side of sausage because you can get turkey or regular. The staff is like family and we share stories and it really is a place that feels like home any day of the week.

The food is great diner food. The atmosphere is classic diner... The staff is friendly... Coffee and food come quickly... Don't let the line out the door scare you. There are probably seats at the bar available; and if you want a booth, the wait is never too long...

I have had lunch here several times and never had a problem or bad food. They go out of there way to make sure that your food is good and love the service.

We came upon this place completely by chance.....Let me tell you, the food was fabulous!! I have always hated home fries since I was a kid, but since they came with my dish I figured well, whatever. I took one bite, then finished the entire thing. They were that good. I could swear I tasted cinnamon in them. My husband... More

Weekends can be busy but it is worth the wait. Old time, classic diner with a traditional and at times upscale menu. Immaculately clean, always friendly wait staff. A step back in time. Generous portions, reasonably prices, I usually get the soup plus lunch. Closed on Mondays if I remember correctly. Breakfast and lunch only, not open for dinner. They... More

We were traveling from Mass Western NY and came across this place on accident. This is an authentic diner and we loved it. Food was fresh, there was a lot in a plate and it was delicious. It seemed like one of those hometown diners that everyone wants in their town. First, the food was not greasy and we loved... More
