We rode by this little cafe on out way to Grand Anse. Since we were riding our bikes and the journey was uphill, my wife and I decided to stop and get refreshed with some local fruit drinks. Kingsley Mathieu was the man behind the counter, and he basically rolled out the red carpet for us. He fixed our order,... More

Yes it was fresh food and yes I shouldn't be so demanding when it comes to beach huts, and yes it was a shady place to have lunch in the scorching sun on La Digue that day in late March. But my husband laughed hysterically when he got hungry at 12:30 and asked when the buffet would be open and... More

Was a really nice experience - with our feet in the sand eating lunch. Only restaurant in the vicinity! There was a wide range of fish, meats, salads, noodles and rice. Shame I was not that hungry due to the hot weather otherwise 300 Scr would be well worth it.

We had the buffet lunch here on our day out at Grand and Petit Anse and were very pleased. It is a set price and you have a good choice of fish/meat and veggie curry as well as noodles/rice and bread. There is also coffee and dessert included but we did not have this as it was too hot to... More

The food was excellent, the chicken, the fish, the beef, the tuna, the lentils, the desserts...if you have room are all worth going back for over and over. I did 3 days in a row. The staff is friendly and the price 300 scr is well worth it. You will leave stuff and happy. My compliments on a great place,... More

There is no competition on the spot: Loutier Coco is the only permanent human presenceon this side of the island (but, so far, there is no need to worry about that). Very simple, with no floor, you just walk on the sand and get some refreshments fefore/after the bike ride and the hike on the trails to the beaches.

Food was wonderful. Location at Grande Anse is equally wonderful. I've given it 4 stars for the inflated prices - you can only have buffet, even if you're not that hungry, and the buffet costs 350 rupees (over €20), I don't think we paid that much for lunch even at fancier places.

One of the few places were we liked créole food and the service was not totally lazy and (--). We had a wonderful grilled thuna steak for acceptable prices. Feet in the sand and a nice, simple beach hut made out of local materials. Perfect for a lunch break. Only open for lunch!

A lovely beach hut restaurant on La Digue Island - with spectacular views of the ocean! A real authentic place serving a buffet lunch of croele cuisine - fish cooked in bannana leaf, medley of curry veggies, stir frys, cooling cocktails & divine hot custard & bannana for dessert! After a great meal we walked a few steps onto a... More

Great beach hut restaurant, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Not really anything on the menu for vegetarians but they were happy to make us noodles with vegetables which were delicious (and lots). Sides included a fresh green salad (rare on the Seychelles) and deep fried toast - different, but tasty.
