Perhaps it was to late at 8pm on a Saturday,or perhaps their regular chef was on vacation but i payed 19 dollars for a seafood platter that was the worst i ever had in my life.Small portions and bad quality at that, cheap frozen brands, and the cream broccoli was sick looking setting in a puddle of milk.Never again!

In this region that is a good place. Nice vibe and great meat. The sea food plate not so much. Prices are low but that ia true for this region. 2 main with drinks 53 $ + tip.

We ate there, there was not enough waitstaff, the soup was salty dishwater, we sat ourselves. The shrimp scampi was flavorless. One of the waitresses tried to be very nice, but they were too busy to even smile. Poor ladies...I am surprised it's busy... Maybe their bar food is tastier. My husband's fried chicken fared better on the tastiness, just... More

Kozels charms you as soon as you enter - with its old wood furniture, long curving bar, and friendly welcome. The menu has steak, fish, pasta, etc. with some interesting seasonals ie shad roe these days. They are all well prepared - don't look for any culinary flourishes - and come in big servings. The bar is more than decent... More

Having passed Kozel's many times on our way to Hudson to dine, we decided to stop and try the place out. The place is dated but clean and the service people are very friendly. The food was good. The only complaint that I have is that the menu sign under the Kozel's sign is not kept up to date. It... More

Kozel's offers really good, tasty food with old time value, comfort, and service. While the ambience is a flashback to the 50s and 60s, that makes it a fun though nostalgic place for baby boomers and older persons to visit and an authentic historic restaurant for younger persons! It is well kept and clean -- just not interested in decorating... More

,If you want good home style food at a reasonable price then stop by. The place is clean, warm, comfortable, friendly and the wait staff is on point. the specials are always good and well portioned. the regular menus go on forever with nothing left out,. try a sandwich, or fried fish or steak, never had the macaroni, but I... The best of 1950s and 1960s Wisconsin lakeshore dining, but fortunately for us, it's in Columbia County, NY, on Route 9H. You haven't been there for decades? Go!!!

Good quality down home comfort food. It is a great family place to go without breaking the bank. They have both a Seniors and Children's menu to span all age groups and appetites. Their turkey dinner was very good on a windy April night. The atmosphere is dated, yet it is comfortable and is like a step back in time,... More
