The inside of Edgar's Restaurant/Belhurst Castle reminded me more of the kitsch of Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein" than anything approaching a castle, but nonetheless the outside is romantic and the food is very good. My wife ordered the duck, which came out too rare for her liking. I had the lamb chops which were perfectly cooked and excellent. They have... More

Very enjoyable! Since we were staying at the castle, it was convenient and transportation was not needed. The parking lot is convenient and just outside the castle but remember we were staying there so transportation was not needed. The service was very good, all staff that came in contact with us were well trained and extremely hospitable making it well... More

The view alone is worth a trip, and the staff (throughout Belhurst) is gentile, well trained, and very warm and helpful, I don't make this compliment often! We had both dinner and 2 buffet lunches. First dinner: selections were ample and quality was quite good. We selected a prix fix, and were not disappointed. Both entrees were ample and well... More

Their breakfast/brunch buffet has a great selection for a good price. This is something to go eat in the castle, overlook the lake and have a filling meal. They have a cook to make your omelet to order which is very good. Service is good. After the meal you can feel free to walk the grounds and take in the... More

Went to Sat. Brunch at 1pm. We were seated next to the windows with a beautiful view of SenecaLake in a gorgeously finished room. Most of the food seemed to have been heated well well past it's prime. The roast beef, chicken, and fish were dry, but edible. The bread pudding was not. Omlet station and green salad stations were excellent!... More

Food was very good after a 5 hour drive and tour of the Bedford Falls inspiration of Seneca Falls, NY. No complaints and would rather eat here than in Geneva.
