Great food in a simple decor

Ports is a good as everyone says. The restaurant looks from the road like a roadside country store or possibly a farmer's fruit and vegetable stand. It is simply furnished inside. We went with another couple to Ports because we thought we could be sure to get a good meal. We weren't disappointed. Everyone had a good entree, and soup was also good. Only slight downer was the prices. Neverthless it was good value.

The Ports Cafe serves very good food and an interesting assortment of wines in a rather simple setting. It is conveniently located just off Rt 14 on the outskirts of Geneva. It is a good value.

I have driven past the Ports Cafe dozens of times traveling the Seneca Wine Trail. I honestly thought it was a bar or something. This past weekend, I was with a group of ten people and one had made a reservation. I am glad she did. The experience was phenomenal thanks to Darlene, our server, and the excellent fare. The... We went for dinner while roaming around the Finger Lakes. Restaurant came highly recommended by several winery's staff and also by the owner of the B&B where we stayed. I made reservations that morning. Seated right on time in the back room. Wait staff was very prompt and knowledgeable. They reviewed the specials (which I think is bigger than the... More

This is a great addition to Upstate dining. Really great food and wonderful wine list and lovely, friendly service. This is a place for a nice leisurely dinner. Now how would this foodie New Yorker improve this place? Smaller portions (yes smaller!) and even a few less ingredients in some of the dishes. I think a few could have been... More

Top notch ,great ahi tuna great pasta dishes , steaks. They do it well, Problem; its small like a bistro, so you might have to wait an hour , even though it would be worth it, do call ahead.

As others have stated, the outside does not reflect the quality of the place. We thought we were at the wrong restaurant at first, looks like a dive bar. Once inside though, it's more a quaint looking restaurant, and the food is REALLY good. Lots of specials, seems 80% of the food they sell is that type. We had mussels,... More

Everything was exceptional...food and service on point. Our dinner selections were all from the special list and cooked to perfection. Erika was a wonderful server who balanced careful attention to our table and others...she was very busy and provided us with impeccable service. For those who have never been to Ports, here's a snapshot of our dinner: Apps: Parmesan tuiles... More
