Absolutely incredible. We never thought a restaurant would be this good away from New York City. Well to start with we had to make a reservation two weeks in advance to. Visitor son at Hobart. We could only get a 5:00 reservation for six. We got there and it was empty and within 15 minutes it was packed. The waiter... More

Ok, the food was masterfully created and presented. But OMG the noise. The acoustics are awful, and hearing the 20+ specials read over and over again by the wait staff to every table is maddening. It was difficult to carry on a conversation. This probably could be mitigated by acoustic ceiling tiles and tablecloths. Tips: 1) Make reservations. There is... More

On a recent vacation to Geneva,we were advised to try Ports Cafe,it was a great dining experience. We did not have reservations, but were quickly seated;our server was extremelyy busy but stopped by several times to let us know that she would be with us very soon. The menu had several good options, but after hearing about all of the specials we were awed... We made reservations for one of the evenings that we were in the area - I'm sure that reservations are needed since a group of 4 came in just as we were arriving at 7:30 and were told it would be 45 minutes to an hour wait. The short review is that this was the best dinner that we have... More

Food was amazing!!! Be sure to check out the specials :) We didn't make reservations so we had to sit at the chef bar but the good definitely made up for it!

I have been going to this restaurant for over 14 years , and it keeps getting better with age. Great food very well prepared, good knowledgable staff a little noisy but thats because everyone is enjoying themselves. Dont miss the Baltimore Shrimp Boil, to die for. Ive eaten shrimp dishes everywhere ,and this is the best .Enjoy.

So, Tuesday night, 6:00, and the place is packed! Our third time at this place, and we enjoyed it better than ever! Don't bother with the entrees on the menu, the specials are diverse and abundant. Appetizers of baked Brie and a cup of mushroom soup were both terrific. Entrees chosen were all off the specials menu. Ribeye steak with... More

Enjoyed our visit to Ports Café and hope to return. Really recommend getting a reservation early - we called on the day around 3:30 pm and couldn't get in until 9 pm. By that time they were out of a few of the specials and had run out of garlic mash too. Still, we very much enjoyed our meals and... More

I have been to Ports Cafe on anniversary trips with my lovely wife on three occasions now. This last trip confirmed my love for this place. It's probably a good thing I don't live closer because I would want to eat there far too regularly. The chef at Ports Cafe is a genius! They have a smaller menu with delicious... More
