We ate here on a Sunday evening. The food was excellent as was the service. What made the service extraordinary was that I left my credit card-we had mentioned that we were leaving the next day-they are closed Monday. I got an Email from them telling me that they had the card and promising to mail it to us. I... More

A very small venue, the food was great. The atmosphere was ok, a larger table of 10-12 was quite loud. It was on the higher priced side but we were looking for something unique, and different. We would return for the same reason.

While driving from LA to New York, a friend of mine and myself discovered this place. What a find! From the delicious Nantucket chowder to the blue cheese wedge to the veal and lobster dishes, it was extraordinary, as were the service and atmosphere - and all at about a quarter or less of what one would pay for a... We had the pear salad and cesar salad, both had too much dressing, like way too much. Then I had the coquille st-jacques, what a mistake, it was rather mashed potatos, breadcrombs, some mozarella cheese and a few scalops... No shrimp, no white wine, no taste... Very bad. As for the service, was ok. In summary, way too pricey, they... More

We went here on a Sunday when we arrived for a Seneca Lake vacation. There was only one other couple in the, restaurant, so it was no surprise that the service was excellent. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is that of a Victorian B&B. It has an antique and inviting quality, although it was a bit... More

The atmosphere and service at The Cobblestone was wonderful, but the food was very disappointing. We chose the calamari and eggplant appetizers and the portions were extremely small. The calamari tasted good, but there was barely any there to enjoy. For dinner i had the chicken and shrimp marsala. It came with 2 medium size shrimp and a small thin... More

The food was good but a bit pricey. The atmosphere was nice, we sat by the fireplace and because it was chilly out, we got to warm ourselves.

Had a nice impromtu dinner here with my daughter from a select menu for the evening. Everything was very good and the atmosphere of this establishment is old world charm. The menu is semi-upscale but you don't have to be dressed to match. I think you'll like it!

We went for Valentine's Day. The atmosphere is awesome. It's a cobblestone house with two stories and fireplaces in each room. However, we placed an order and waited over an hour for it to arrive. The food was nicely presented but overdone and lacking flavor and quality you'd expect for a fine dining experience (and the price.) We probably wouldn't... More
