Funky little place!

We were driving from upstate ny to Cleveland, and we stopped in Geneva for lunch. Cute town. Stumbled upon Opus. Totally my kind of place. Dark wood, lots of coffee, people relaxing and reading. Limited, but interesting, menu. I had the Brie and fig sandwich. The bun was too big, but the sandwich... read more

Stopped in for lunch upon arrival in Geneva due to its name and good reviews. I thought they'd have a variety of wines to try with lunch, but no. Only 3 bottles. The rest seemed like a pretty average coffee place with some pastries and sandwiches. If this is what you like, you probably won't be disappointed, but in a... More

A group of "boomers" just off their bikes from a lakeside ride were lucky to end the adventure with a wonderful lunch at Opus. All 6 of us were very happy with the great menu and fine food. I'll be back...

We stumbled upon Opus earlier this month while cruising from Watkins Glen to Sackets Harbor (we were traveling from Virginia to Montreal on a motorcycle), and found it to be the perfect spot for lunch. The turkey (real carved turkey!) and cranberry sandwich with a fresh mixed greens salad was delicious, and the coffee was fresh and flavorful. The highlight... More

Not that a perfect Double Espresso Macchiato isn't enough, but when you combine it with a rock'n breakfast burrito and delicious pastries and cookies you've just gone off the charts. Great place to start your day or have a great lunch! They even ice the espressos! Great food and great smoothies! Wonderful staff!

We started our wine tour with a stop here for coffee and breakfast. The egg sandwich panini was great. The coffee was also wonderful. The lady at the counter (Chelsea?) gave us wonderful recommendations for wineries to visit and lunch spots. They were all great picks! There are so many wineries to hit on Seneca lake, it can be a... Stopped by for the first time for lunch. After we sat down, an unsmiling young woman advised us that we should order at the counter, and then the meals would be brought to our table. So far, we were decidely unimpressed with the place. But then things got better. The food was delivered by a pleasant young man, and everything... More

Enjoyed a late lunch here on a recent visit to Geneva. Curried chicken salad was tasty. Will go back to sample more of their offerings next time I'm in town. Only downside was not having anywhere to put the "tea bag" (which wasn't a regular tea bag) so ended up having a very strong cup of tea.

Favorite spot in Geveva. Great coffee, sandwiches and dessert. Turkey sandwich and caramel brownie with sea salt would be worth a long drive. Wish I lived close

Being accustomed to my morning latte, I was in a bit of a panic at the thought of having to forgo my habit during a recent trip to the Finger Lakes region. Thankfully, OPUS was there to save the day with their excellent (vanilla) latte. The barista was also very friendly.
