My husband & I ate there recently & really enjoyed it. I highly recommend the cheese board - it was priced well with a nice variety of foods/flavors & enough for 2 to share. We both had the clam & corn chowder, which was o.k. but whatever cheese they used (cheese was not even listed as an ingredient) completely overpowered... More

If you don't want to go to the upscale restaurant Edgar's at Belhurst Castle, I'd highly recommend Stonecutters. It's the bar, but the food is terrific, as is the view of Seneca Lake. We ate lightly, but the portions were a good size. I had a crab salad with bacon, avocado, onion and blue cheese dressing that was divine. My... More

Our food was well prepared, the space is really attractive. There is a marvelous fire pit outside that really encourages conviviality and mingling with other guests. The service was excellent, and the bar is really well designed. Locals as well as guests patronize Stonecutters, and I think that is a good indication. The menu selection is varied and imaginative. Ate here checking out a wedding venue. I had the Australian rib sandwich and it was amazing. Made on a pretzel roll with great read me in a very good mustard with horseradish sauce. The kettle chips that came with the meal were amazing. To be honest I would consider not getting a sandwich and just eating kettle chips and... More

The patio has a beautiful view of the lake and is nicely landscaped. The menu had a large variety of options from soup, salads, appetizers and sandwiches. They all sounded so good we had difficulty deciding. Our neice had the The Northeastern - which was oven roasted turkey with double cream brie, wild Maine blueberry reduction, shaved romaine on a... I have been to Stonecutters and Edgar's before and have always been happy with the food and views. My husband and I decided to take my visiting parents to a late lunch/early dinner at Stonecutters Memorial Day weekend, after my commencement ceremony for a graduate degree at a college in the Finger Lakes. They have never been there before. We... More

Was surprised at the average prices for a great atmosphere and really good food. Being in a great room/hall of the castle or outdoor seating overlooking the lake, or next to the outdoor fire is a great place to enjoy a relaxing meal. Will definitely return. The service was excellent for bar service. Great place to have a small meeting,... More

Fun place with a friendly bartender and staff. Enjoyed listening to the band and people watching. Had a lovely meal upon our arrival.

We recently spent two days at Belhurst and went to Stonecutters twice. On our first night there we went down to eat and found the atmosphere and the staff to be excellent. As we looked over the menu we noticed that there were not many offerings for vegetarians. We chose the cheese board and each had a glass of Belhurt's... More
