On our recent visit to Belhurst Castle we just popped down to Stonecutter's for a drink before dinner. The bartender was personable and the drink he made for us was PERFECT. The lounge has a lot of character and looks out and down to Seneca Lake. It's a really nice setting. Two years ago we also had lunch there. In... More

We ordered wine / beer, along with crab cakes & mussels. We paid $14 for 11 mussels in what seemed like lemon water broth :( . The crab cakes looked perfect, but were cold. We did request them to be warmed up. After about 15 min, they returned new crab cakes that were lukewarm. We couldn't eat them. So, after... More

We headed out to Stonecutter's at Belhurst Castle because the castle was beautiful. Stonecutter's, one of two restaurants at Belhurst, had a nice, casual menu and live music; we were sold. However, we were a little disappointed by the restaurant and service. The hotel was the site of a wedding that evening we were there and the wait staff seemed... More

Stonecutters has something for all adults. Inside is an intimate bar, with leather and wood. Large stone fireplace. Outside on the patio is beautiful view with large gas fire pit. The food was reasonably good. The menu is simple with mostly sandwiches. Large selection of beer and wine. Staff friendly

We had dinner here one evening while staying in Geneva. The outdoor seating was very picturesque with a lovely view of Seneca Lake (bring a light jacket if you are there for dinner, as the area is quickly in shade). The food selection was adequate, with some unique options that you cannot find everywhere. Part of our desire to go... More

Sit at the bar w/all glass walls to Seneca Lake, elegant bar décor but unpretentious. The food was good and the bar offers an abundance of local wines by the glass -- and the view to the lake and Castle gardens -- priceless.

I ordered a Pulled Pork Monte Cristo at Stonecutters. My first bite included a large piece of pork fat grizzle. I lifted the bread to see what else was in there and was surprised to find two tiny pieces of pork in a very large sandwich. How could a chef send a $13 sandwich out to a customer knowing it... More

My wife and I have visited Belhurst around 10 times. We always enjoy sitting at the bar at Stonecutters and having a light meal with a drink. The view of the lake and the service has are always great. Our bartender Mike gave great service and the food on this trip was particularly good.

We had a great waiter so despite the fact that they did not have a couple of items on the menu (that of course people in our group wanted) he helped them find suitable alternatives. The burgers and beef on welt were delicious. Great view of the lake outside on the patio and inside at the bar. Very comfortable bar... More

My husband & I ate there recently & really enjoyed it. I highly recommend the cheese board - it was priced well with a nice variety of foods/flavors & enough for 2 to share. We both had the clam & corn chowder, which was o.k. but whatever cheese they used (cheese was not even listed as an ingredient) completely overpowered... More
