nice place great service

Going on a Saturday night without a reservation was tough. My son and I ate at the bar and had great service. The pizza was wonderful thin and cooked very well. Had the steamed clams which were fresh and really good. Caesar salad was fresh but too much lemon and a little too much dressing. Had... read more

We had lived in the Finger Lakes for a few years and never tried this gem. I think I had briefly looked at the menu once and thought it looked a little too expensive so we would always eat next door at Parkers. We headed back to the Finger Lakes this weekend and decided to finally try Halseys and we... More

My wife and I were in Geneva for the weekend and visited Halsey's on a Friday night. We'd read some good and some not so good reviews so we were skeptical. We weren't very hungry so decided to order some calamari and a pizza to share. The atmosphere was great if you like restaurants that are inviting and make you... More

Not only overpriced but the timing of the food coming out of the kitchen was horrible. Wife and I went with another couple. Two entrees came out to our table and we waited over 10 minutes for the other two entrees. The staff blamed it on Parkers Grill because of a shared kitchen.

I had plans to meet colleagues for dinner and found Halsey's via an online search. When I asked if this would be a good choice, one of my colleagues said 'you won't be disappointed'. Definitely an understatement. The atmosphere is great. The bartender very attentive and the waitress top shelf. The meal was super, a wonderful salad and the salmon... More

It was a good meal, but not exceptional; but it was expensive. If I had to eat in Geneva and couldn't get into Ports I might go back, but wouldn't go out of my way.

Went here for my husband's 60th birthday. Very nice place. Nice décor, lively. One of their features is a brick oven where they make the usual pizzas, but also meatballs. Several in our party had the wood-fired meatballs and enjoyed them. They were very busy on this Sat night and were out of the butternut squash soup I wanted and... More

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent service. The staff there was great, they were very attentive to our needs. The prices were very reasonable for the high quality food that we had. Atmosphere was intermit, we really enjoyed our meal, we would go back in a heartbeat.

What a lovely way to spend our final evening in the Finger Lakes area....we came upon this restaurant somewhat unexpectedly....we had wanted to try the #1 rated restaurant on trip advisor however we were not able to get reservations....although it was indicated that this was a more expensive experience it was certainly absolutely worth the value...the food was amazing and... We stopped in on Thursday, September 18th, after visiting a number of local vineyards. The young lady who waited on us was extremely friendly, courteous, and professional. My entrée was the vegetarian lasagna which was excellent and of a proper portion size. My wife enjoyed the salmon topped salad. Dessert was cheese cake. I was going to try one of... More
