It was a good meal, but not exceptional; but it was expensive. If I had to eat in Geneva and couldn't get into Ports I might go back, but wouldn't go out of my way.

Went here for my husband's 60th birthday. Very nice place. Nice décor, lively. One of their features is a brick oven where they make the usual pizzas, but also meatballs. Several in our party had the wood-fired meatballs and enjoyed them. They were very busy on this Sat night and were out of the butternut squash soup I wanted and... More

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent service. The staff there was great, they were very attentive to our needs. The prices were very reasonable for the high quality food that we had. Atmosphere was intermit, we really enjoyed our meal, we would go back in a heartbeat.

What a lovely way to spend our final evening in the Finger Lakes area....we came upon this restaurant somewhat unexpectedly....we had wanted to try the #1 rated restaurant on trip advisor however we were not able to get reservations....although it was indicated that this was a more expensive experience it was certainly absolutely worth the value...the food was amazing and... We stopped in on Thursday, September 18th, after visiting a number of local vineyards. The young lady who waited on us was extremely friendly, courteous, and professional. My entrée was the vegetarian lasagna which was excellent and of a proper portion size. My wife enjoyed the salmon topped salad. Dessert was cheese cake. I was going to try one of... More

We were unable to eat in the restaurant due to traveling with the pup so we ordered carryout from their very well-done menu. We will indeed make this a must-stop and eat there next time...without the dog! Being gluten-free I so appreciated their GF pizza (the prosciutto and caramelized onion was awesome!). We had a spinach salad, a wedge salad... More

We had a horrible at Halsey's. I've been there a number of times over the past 7 years, and this year was the worst. First, they ran out of bread at 7:30pm, and they ran out of the fillet special at 7:30pm. Really, it was a Saturday night. Then, I ordered the Kansas City strip, and it was overly seasoned.... More

Halsey's was recommended by the owner of the house we rented this past week. It was so good that we went back to dinner twice. The food was great, the atmosphere quite warm and cozy, and the staff were wonderful. I do not hesitate in highly recommending Halsey's for a dinner for two, or a group of friends.

Stopped in on a Tuesday night with a friend. We called 1/2 hour earlier for a reservation & were seated immediately. Along with our menus, we were given a basket of warm soft cubed flatbread and a dish with olive oil, bals. vin, grated cheese & raw garlic for dipping. I could make a meal of that any time. I...
