Good food, great service, great location

We ate dinner here just before a concert at the beautiful Smith Opera House, which is right next door. We had the risotto, a meatball pizza and a lettuce salad. All the food was good. The service - wish I could remember the young lady's name! - was excellent. She was super friendly, funny and fast... read more

Halsey's provides a great restaurant for visitors to Geneva NY. Specials are offered daily including wine by the glass and a pizza that is usually to die for. The wood fired pizza oven provides great pizza with a multitude of toppings. Menu changes based on availability of local ingredients. Fresh bread and oil preceed the creative offerings. A great restaurant... More

Both of our visits have been excellent. Appreciate the choice to share an affordable, but good pizza or have a nice entree. All the appetizers have been very excellent but the meatballs take way to long, ordered with our drinks and they arrived with our entrees. Good beers on tap and good selection of wine. Enjoy the local brews, like... More

I recently had four business-related dinners at Halsey's in a three-week period, after not having eaten here for just over a year. The space is lovely, and service was good. However, the food just doesn't quite live up to what it is trying to be, and for the price, I'm not willing to go there when I'm picking up the... More

On March 14, we had a delicious meal at Halsey's, a restaurant I have wanted to visit for some time, but as it is about an hour from home it hadn't happened. But this was a family occasion, and we finally made it! Wonderful atmosphere in an unassuming storefront in Geneva. I chose a the pan-seared scallops small plate and... More

I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Halseys. It was intimate but not crowded. They got us seated right away. Definitely have to try the pizzas. They were fantastic with a very thin and crispy crust.

The food was good but the reason Im writing this review is the staff and management. They are truly top notch friendly and professional in everyway and that to me is 80% of a places worth. Oh yeah....The food is super good too. The Dessert was heaven.

You are greeted by bartenders who make you feel like family. Unique drinks, wide assortment of flatbread pizzas, steaks grilled perfectly, amazing specialties. The House Salad - Spinach, cranberries, goat cheese, nuts has not failed me yet! Pleasant place to meet for drinks or celebrate all special occassions. Pete Mitchell (owner) knows what people love to eat!

Our server was Laura. She was great and very attentive to our needs. We enjoyed our appetizer of the sausage ragu. It came with polenta. I'm Italian and the polenta was what I am used to. The Kansas City strip was perfect. My husband and I highly recommend Halsey's.
