Usually good...

I usually LOVE my pancakes from Bank Street, but last time I went they were raw inside and made me sick :'(

I LOVE this place. I only ever get the breakfast because let's face it, it's pretty damn amazing. If you're craving carbs, their pancakes are where it's at--super thick and fluffy, and with dozens of filling/topping options. I personally love the omelets and they're served with plenty of home fries and I always get the thick slices of marble rye... More

Well worth the wait - and there always is one! - this little hole in the wall restaurant on Main Street in Geneseo is a fabulous value and a great experience. Everybody is really friendly, so the long line is easier to take. The portions are huge and the food delicious. I had the stuffed banana pancakes that could've fed... More

This cafe is known for their thick pancakes and is popular with students at the college and my daughter is a repeat customer. You can get eggs and omelets, coffee and tea, and various types of full breakfasts. There are plenty of tables for eating there and the decor is warm and comfortable. We all thought our food was good... More

This isn't sophisticated, but a good yummy deal. Pancakes are their specialty, but it isn't real maple syrup they serve. I loved the breakfast pizza. They aren't open late.

Recently stopped by for the first time for breakfast during parent's weekend at the college. It is an interesting place and the food was good. The pumpkin pancakes were excellent. However thye seemed to have trouble keeping up the the number of customers. We waited waited and waited for our food. The food was good when we finally got it.

Pros - nice mix of traditional and unique/quirky options (i.e. chicken salad in a greek pita) - spacious - good poritons for the price you pay - made their own ice cream (best Maple Walnut I've ever had) - fresh fries - friendly young staff - went with my little brother and they had plenty of comfort foods that kids... Stopped for lunch at the Bank Street Cafe, which is located on Main St. Geneseo, during our college visit and was pleasantly surprised. Far from just a bagel cafe, this comfortable, friendly restaurant had a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items that they could customize to your taste. The buffalo chicken wrap was tasty and my daughter had the... More

Wow! They serve terrible coffee "Paul Delima" from Rochester. The owner actually told my wife that the townsies prefer this coffee. Obvoiously this isn't true. What is true is its the cheapest coffee to buy. Cheap and stale. I think I'll travel out of town to get a good cup of fresh and local coffee. I don't plan to go... More
