Everything about this visit was wonderful. Starting with the Liver pâté, which was a real treat. There were 3 for dinner and we all had something different. Paupiette de Veau, Steak Au Poivre Flambé and a special for the night Lobster Louisiana. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. The chef stopped by the table and chatted. A nice feature about... Having lived in France, I know a thing or two about French food. Chez Pierre serves the worst French food I have ever tasted. Though, to be precise, it can barely even be called food and is certainly not French. We went to Chez Pierre as a family for my father's birthday and were quite excited about it based on... More

This is what a restaurant should look, feel, and taste like! It is NOT a chain. It's really, really good food in a quaint building with very helpful staff. Not your typical pushy or snobby French place but food is very French! Love the beef Wellington. Leave room for the chocolate mouse!

This restaurant beats La Bon Soup in NYC and they have won awards for their onion soup! I highly recommend this little jewel of a restaurant north of Saratoga Springs, New York. My veal francaise was verry good but on my next visit it will be the onion soup and a caesar definately!

We ate here this weekend with friends and were very pleased with the service and the food. Several items we flambéed table side which was a classic preparation and made the food seem even more special. (Steak Diane - Steak Aupovre - Crepes) Everything was delicious as we had heard it would be. The staff is very experienced and we... More

Great atmosphere, great service and excellent French food at good value. We tried the chataue which was great. Also had veal and fish on other occasions. Really nice place if you are in the area and what fine dining

Chez Pierre is one of my favorite restaurants because of the (always) delicious food, the lovely decor celebrating France, and the professionalism of the staff. My husband and I celebrate our wedding anniversaries here.

France or Manhattan its not, but it is a last of the real thing (or as close to) place. NICE people serving well selected items. To start with 1/2 doz. oysters these were by far the best I have ever had anywhere, plump, perfect size, cold, full of their own liqueur, (bits of shell inside too bad) Salad next (OH FORGOT THE... Just minutes north of downtown Saratoga Springs, N.Y. you'll find "Chez Pierre", a charismatic eatery offering classical country French cuisine, situated under soaring pines on a secluded stretch of Route 9 that was once a bustling thoroughfare carrying eager travelers to the Adirondacks. Four of us went on our annual fall outing to "Chez Pierre". We made reservations a couple... More
