After vacationing in the theater district, we planned a couple of nights in Freeport for a Jones Beach concert. Got into town later in afternoon and we were quite hungry. Found this place on Trip Advisor and we were seated immediately. Food was delicious! There were four of us and each was pleased with our selection. This was honestly better... More

Went yesterday with a party of 4. One critical criteria was indoor seating with air conditioning because one of our party is not an al fresco person by any means. This place met the criteria since all seating was indoors. Every table had a view of the canal. There was also valet parking which was convenient. The food was pretty... More

We went to Nautilus last night with a party of 7, including 2 children. They were basically full; they don't have massive seating. We waited 30 mins for a table before the hostess told us they couldn't reconfigure tables for us and it would be a much longer wait for a table that fit 7. The manager didn't appear to... More

Went to the Nautilus Cafe last night for dinner, we had a coupon for $20.00 off the bill so we figured we'd try it. The food was excellent and the service was excellent. We had the broiled fish combo and the fish couldn't have been better (scallops flounder, shrimp) salad comes with it and we ordered a side of creamed... More

We love to come here on Wednesdays for Steak Night (excellent choices and prix fixe so you can watch your wallet. They also have excellent seafood like the halibut and the swordfish - but I always love to get the specials of day. Good service in a cosy environment. Great little bar area for drinks before dinner or if you... More

While visiting my brother in NY, we went to the Nautilus for dinner. The food was so good! I have no had lobster in years. I ordered the 2 lb and I enjoyed every bite! I don't use butter so I asked for lots of lemon and they made sure I had enough to enjoy my meal. The restaurant was... More

Been our go to place for seafood for years. Not a huge menu, but has good selection for land and water choices, and there are daily specials too. Most entrees come with a good sized salad and side dishes are big enough to share. Seating can be a bit tight, the food makes it worth it.

What more can I say about this place. Brian and his staff have proven time and time again that this is the place to beat. Service, and food being always consistently good. Lunches here are the best deal in town and the early bird is a pretty good deal to. Try Steak night or Lobster night but make reservations the... More

Amazing veal chop and prime rib dinner. Excellent! The best food on the Nautical Mile. It is very busy, so I would suggest reservations. They also have Valet parking.

We had an enjoyable dinner there with many colleagues. THe staff was very accommodating as the amount of people in our group kept changing. Food was very good too.
