Went back on Saturday night because of a Lobster Special in the local papers. A couple of us had the special and the rest of us ordered off the menu. I should note that there was plenty of seating around 8:00 which was probably not a good sign. There was an "odor" throughout the restaurant and there was just a... More

I had been wanting to try this place for some time. I wish I hadn't bothered. The bar area upon entering the establishment was open and airy and had a decent vibe. Partially it may have been because we were among the few people there. The bartender was a young, apparently inexperienced female. She meant well, but was annoying and... More

excellent service all around, from the parking valet to the hostess to your waitress and even the bus person i ordered the fri night special steak(med well) and lobster combo........the filet arrived raw and cold and the lobster tail was undersized , over cooked and over seasoned....yuck! one would think that something as featured as that, would be a prime... The outdoor patio is nice but needs a few more umbrellas for the midday sun. It also needs a few more reasonably priced choices for lunch. There is a limited $12 lunch menu but the rest of the entrees are rather pricey. The food is good and the service terrific.

Wildfish is off of the iconic Nautical Mile in Freeport, NY, so depending on how you approach the harbor you may have to look. There is indoor and outdoor dining as you might expect in this popular boating and fishing enclave. A friend and I stopped in for lunch; there were no umbrellas available. However, as soon as a table... More

Been going to Wild Fish for years. Food was always good, professional service and decent prices. However, was there this evening with a party of 6 with a large tab. Was VERY, VERY disappointed when the out food came. We ordered the Wild-fish special with appetizer, main course and dessert. Sadly the main dish came and the portions were horrible.... More

We ate here on Memorial Day evening. This restaurant is set off from the very usy Woodcliff Ave. restaurant row and is on the east side of the canal. You don't put up with all the crowds and for the most part the food is pretty good. There is a canal adjoining the restaurant with outdoor dining if you can... More

We recently held our daughter's first communion party at Wildfish. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was fantastic. The staff cheerfully accommodated multiple food allergies, several young children, and generally made sure that everyone had a wonderful time. It was so nice to be able to enjoy a sunny spring day on their water front deck. We received just... More

The atmosphere was nice, the food was fair. Don't bother with the clam chowder. It was salty and lacked clams. There was no fradiavolo in the fradiavolo ! The tuna was decent but lacked in presentation. Our waiter was unattentive and didn't even offer dessert choices. Overall the price was high and we will not go back!

Went a few times. Food is good and prices aren't bad. The first time we had a very good waiter, but the second time we had a different waiter who was slooooow. The mixed drinks were of good quality as well. I had the lobster bisque, but there were no lobster chunks in it. I also had the seafood paella... More
