Cheap Bar on the Nautical Mile

There are lots of places to chose from but this place had inexpensive wine and a view of the canal. What more could you want?

I may be mistaken but in all my 84 restaurant reviews I have NEVER given a "terrible" rating. Well! It's time. Went here for lunch after a "seal watching cruise" as I had read some of the good reviews given to this place on tripadvisor. All can say, either I was in the wrong place or people mistake food for... More

I visited the ale house during my first trip home to Long Island since the flood, it was one of the few businesses still open on the Nautical Mile. The energy there was really casual, it appeared that the regulars were at the bar, laughing and talking and there were several other patrons. The guys working were really friendly and... More

Order at the bar, delivered to your table. Always fresh food, attentive staff and smile when you arrive !! Eat inside in the winter and on the deck, on the canal in good weather. Seafood chowder in a tortilla bowl is amazing , full of shrimp, scallops, lobster...whatever is in season. Their portions are huge!!! Enough mussels to share....great chili,... More

We went here based on other reviews. We ordered the seafood stew, clams on the half shell, clan chowder soup, lobster roll, beer battered scallops, alp of which were delicious. Extra kudos on the loaded chips! OMG! They were great as well as the ice cold blue moon beers! This place is a definitely must if your liking for good... More

I have been coming to the Nautical Mile since I could walk! I got engaged at Schooners (no longer there). I have watched places come and go and prices go up and up, which is to be expected since its a seasonal place for most. Jeremy's is not the place for you if you want table service, loud music, vibrant... More

Jeremys is a popular seafood bar down by the waterfront in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge. It's a bit off the beaten track, but it's worth making an effort to find the place, It's an old-fashioned, rather colourful and boisterous waterside workers bar that now offers an extensive range of beers and wonderfully fresh seafoods and salads. As a... More

For good food that is reasonably priced, Jeremy's Ale House is the place to go on the Nautical Mile. My family usually orders grilled seafood plus their homemade chips or soups. Everything is fresh and tasty. This is a real low-key and homey place with a fun vibe. Please do not get put off by the look of the place... More

If you are looking for the TRUE OLD SCHOOL Nautical Mile Expierence, then Jeremy's is it !!! It is a LOCAL secret, but the food is GREAT ! its not one of those "updated" establishments, so if you are looking for MODERN FLAIR, you wont find it here !! its not much to look at, you place your order at...
