Gracious and accommodating staff. Sat at bar and watched the chefs at work. Fantastic pork chop, tasty greens and good wine. Will definitely stop here again the next time we are in the area. Highly recommend!

Went to the Brick Room for a wonderful dinner tonight. The pancetta wrapped chicken with roasted red potatoes, green peas and carmelized onions was so very tasty. The roasted vegetable linguini with asparagus, cherry tomatoes and a basil lemon sauce was superb! The linguini was listed as " lighter fare", so I naturally concluded the meal with a delicious creme... More

That would be the Brick Room in Fredonia. Food is made with locally sourced ingredients, inventive, always tasty, and served with panache. The open bar area let's you see and interact with the chefs cooking your meal. Live music is seasonal and played by top performers of the University's music program. Good food does not come inexpensively in the restaurant... More

We've eaten here several times and the food quality is good. The chef is very talented and the quality of the food is consistently innovative and good. My big problem is the owner and I simply cannot spend another dime in this place. It's too bad.

I cannot say enough about our meal last night. Fresh ceviche and scallop appetizers. LA crema pinot noir...for our main course elk flank steak and crab cakes with risotto. Amazing dinner.

Cozy, comfortable atmosphere; interesting food choices. The food was delicious with a beautiful presentation. Our waiter was very laid back, not terribly enthusiastic or helpful in our selections. We did not enjoy the loud 60s music in the background as light jazz would seem more appropriate. We were particularly stunned by the complete lack of any local wines on the... More

very good food quality, but I can clearly state that the adjoining bar next door was quieter than the Brick Room! We had difficulty maintaining any decent conversation; as it turns out the couple seated next to us were staying at the same B&B, and they also found the noise from the other dinner guests to be a problem. This was a cozy place to dine. The menu was very interesting and the meals prepared one at the time, making for a fresh and delightful tasting meal but a rather long wait even when one dines early before the crowd. Nice to be able to see the chefs working in the open kitchen. Go only if you have time... More

I tried the pork appetizer with a Caesar salad. The pork was wonderful and it was pink inside. Combined they were a light meal for a reasonable price. A teenager wouldn't be able to get away with this. This is not a fast food restaurant so be prepared to wait a while for appetizers. The salad came out right away.... More
