Great people making great food. We were biking by on the Eire Canal trail and happened upon this gem. As NYC residents we were happy to find home away from home. Cannoli was worth the trek!

Although this place is off the beaten path, ie, the freeway, it is worth the bit of extra effort to find. The irregular building shape grabs you first, but the food & service are the main attractions, as they should be. The day I visited there was a rain storm & regular staff was not able to get in. Chef Owner Rich Brown works hard to make sure each diner has a great experience. I have had several meals there, most recently my birthday surprise party. The food is always served freshly prepared, hot and with inviting presentation. The restaurant is small. So reservations are a good idea.

Not the best on atmosphere but GREAT meals. Had lunch which was just terrific - all homemade by chef/owner Rich Brown. This restaurant has an Italian flair and I have not heard of anyone who has been disappointed here.

The wings are great here. My sister in law comes all the way from queens for the fries. Rich goes out of his way to make things just so for you. A lot of beer to choose from and the weekly specials are always great for lunch. Chicken painni is always a great choice.

My husband & I enjoyed a delicious meal and had a very positive experience at the Dome 49 last Sunday afternoon. The reservation process, the seating, the service and the entire meal were fantastic. For app's we had Ada's Arancini (Yum!!) and the Greens, both were cooked perfectly. For entrees, my husband chose the chicken parmesan which was a large,... More

I traveled to Dome49 on Sunday, 11.18 with my parents and party of about 22 people total. The wait staff had our table ready and we were all seated and drinks ordered in short order. Warm bread was delivered to our extra-long table promptly along with those that ordered appetizers. Within an hour we all were eating our salads and... More

I loved the food, but the open atmosphere, high ceiling, bright lights, made it feel like eating in a food court. EVERYTHING else about it was wonderful
