We went to Katsuno based on the reviews on tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. It was no at big restaurant and in located on Metropolitan Avenue. The restaurant does not have a parking lot but it would not be too easy to find parking on one of the side street. We order the soba noodle soup with braised pork.... More

My wife and I usually go into Manhattan for real Japanese food. But after we tried Katsuno, we no longer have to. The food was absolutely wonderful. I had the Tuna & Avocado Salad. Excellent! Large slices of tuna over green salad. A really nice starter. I had the Tempura Soba and my wife the cod. Both were done perfectly.... More

I found Katsuno on the Michelin guide and finally tried. They are cozy and very unique restaurant operating by high skilled chef. The quality of food is excellent made with delicate balance and umami. I had tried several appetizers with their wide range of fine sake list. Tamanohikari Jyunmai Daiginjo was very rich and smooth; it had gone with fresh... More

Make sure you have dinner reservations on a Friday night. The restaurant is small with only 8 tables. Luckily we were able to snag one table. Had the cod and the sushi platter. Excellent. Staff is very friendly.

My dining experience at KATSUNO was excellent. We ate squid & Celery salad, Tuna & Avocado salad, Crab & Cucumber vinaigrette and homemade crab dumplings. After we shared appetizers, we ordered sushi and soba noodles. All the dishes were excellent and delicious. I will come back soon.

It's a small Japanese restaurant in Forest Hills. The food is very good with reasonable price, as well as good service & presentation. The restaurant was opened in November and not have a liquor license yet (you can bring your own drinks). It's my secret spot to have a real Japanese food in this area.
