Best Japanese Food in Forest Hills

Excellent service, nice decor and most of all fresh fish. Can't go wrong when eating at this staple of the neighborhood. Top of the line sushi chefs. Great selection. Always ask Stephanie for the specials, she is tops. Fresh out of the ocean selections. Highly recommend when you're in the... read more

Good choice for sushi prior to a concert at the Foreat Hills Stadium. Nice dining outside with comfortable seats. Wine selection was good and sushi fresh. A lot of interesting rolls from which to choose. Udon someone at next table ordered looked good as well. Would return as I would also return to this nice area for another concert, as... More

I have been coming to Narita for years and am always made to feel welcome by Stephanie and her amazing staff. The atmosphere is comfortable and the service is outstanding, but what we really come for is the sushi. It is always expertly prepared and there are so many clever variations on the various Maki (rolls). The sushi is very... More

Narita was a pleasant surprise, starting with the spacious layout, the quiet atmosphere, the very comfortable leather chairs, and, upon being seated, being welcomed with hot towels - that was a very nice touch. We liked the food very much - all 3 of us had teriyaki (sea bass, salmon, shrimp), and the portions were just right, as were the... More

This is a nice modern-style Japanese restaurant. It's not traditional in terms of food selection; however, they have some nice bento boxes to choose from. I ordered a bento box (the one without the tempura) and had a pretty good dinner. Overall the food was good. They have 2 hibachi tables, small sushi bar and quite a big seating place.... More

It is really incredible food and I am not even a fan of Japanese food that much. Most of their food is cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, since I am not a big fan of Japanese food, I can not give it a good review. I do have a complaint about the service though. We order from them very frequently and... More

Narita Japanese Cuisine is a fine Queens restaurant that delivers good food with conscientious service offering the tables of choice for all requests! The hibachi chef provided great entertainment for our European guests. Besides being content with the delicious food, the patrons were amazed at the dexterity of the chef as he demonstrated his talents with his shining sharp knife.... More

I love the maki and special rolls (firecracker, salmon broken heart, pearl, omg, and the list can go on) and my husband favors the hibachi. There are different types of sitting available (outdoor, sushi bar, regular bar, tatami, hibachi, and regular table seating). The food is fresh and the service impeccable. I have eaten from this restaurant for over 15... More

This restaurant is a neighborhood gem in Forest Hills, Queens. Around for over 20 years, it serves authentic Japanese cuisine at reasonable prices, with friendly staff that doesn't rush you. The drinks are wonderful too.

Narita is a fun local Japanese restaurant. We went for our son's birthday and everyone had a blast. Great food, wonderful service and quite an impressive demonstration of culinary skill.
