Narita was a pleasant surprise, starting with the spacious layout, the quiet atmosphere, the very comfortable leather chairs, and, upon being seated, being welcomed with hot towels - that was a very nice touch. We liked the food very much - all 3 of us had teriyaki (sea bass, salmon, shrimp), and the portions were just right, as were the... More

This is a nice modern-style Japanese restaurant. It's not traditional in terms of food selection; however, they have some nice bento boxes to choose from. I ordered a bento box (the one without the tempura) and had a pretty good dinner. Overall the food was good. They have 2 hibachi tables, small sushi bar and quite a big seating place.... More

It is really incredible food and I am not even a fan of Japanese food that much. Most of their food is cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, since I am not a big fan of Japanese food, I can not give it a good review. I do have a complaint about the service though. We order from them very frequently and... More

Narita Japanese Cuisine is a fine Queens restaurant that delivers good food with conscientious service offering the tables of choice for all requests! The hibachi chef provided great entertainment for our European guests. Besides being content with the delicious food, the patrons were amazed at the dexterity of the chef as he demonstrated his talents with his shining sharp knife.... More

I love the maki and special rolls (firecracker, salmon broken heart, pearl, omg, and the list can go on) and my husband favors the hibachi. There are different types of sitting available (outdoor, sushi bar, regular bar, tatami, hibachi, and regular table seating). The food is fresh and the service impeccable. I have eaten from this restaurant for over 15... More

This restaurant is a neighborhood gem in Forest Hills, Queens. Around for over 20 years, it serves authentic Japanese cuisine at reasonable prices, with friendly staff that doesn't rush you. The drinks are wonderful too.

Narita is a fun local Japanese restaurant. We went for our son's birthday and everyone had a blast. Great food, wonderful service and quite an impressive demonstration of culinary skill.

We went to Narita for a dinner during the week and we were disappointed with the meal, as well as the service. However, the service our waiter provided wasn't really the problem. it was more about the general operations of the place itself. what got under my skin was the fact that we ordered one maki roll as an apetizer... We don't go for the hibachi (which is a hit for most) but live to sit at the sushi bar where the experts keep the specialties coming. Manager (Stephanie) is wonderful as are her cocktails! Could be considered to be on the expensive side, but it's worth it for good quality sushi.

This restaurant, strangely enough, seems to have been named for an airport. Imagine an American restaurant in Japan called “JFK International”? The interior of NARITA is fairly simple, classic modern Japanese with lots of white and strips of wood. Although most tables were “Western-style”, they also have a sushi bar, two hibachi tables and some traditional, low-to-the-ground Japanese tables for... More
