This is one of my must visit places when I'm in the beautiful city of NY. It's hard to find South American food in Dallas Texas. This place is authentic in every dish and the food is always fresh. The service was also great. Not to mention this place is very spacey yet "homey". I enjoyed every bite!

I always order the Matador combo which includes chicken, rice and beans, avocado salad and salchipapas (fries with hot dogs). If you want to relax with your drink - very tasty Sangria - do not order your food until you are ready to eat. It is brought out immediately. Good service and very tasty food. But It is a large,cavernous... More

The chicken, rice and beans, fried plantains, rice, Lomo Saltado, calamari, avocado salad....delicious. The restaurant is large. Can get crowded and when it does the service is so so but no complaints. Will Lways go back!

We got there early and by the time we left the place was packed! It was a Thursday night and I didn't expect this large restaurant to fill up, but it did. It was very different food and very good. I had the filet with a side of avocado, which was so simply prepared, yet so enjoyable. The filet was... More

This outstanding restaurant in the heart of Jackson Heights (Queens) provides a tasty entree into the art of Peruvian cuisine. The drinks, wines, appetizers and main dishes were all outstanding. As an added bonus, the ethnicity of the area provides multi-cultural offerings in "window" and serious shopping second to none. Most tourists don't get to this area of NYC and... More

Dined here this weekend for the first time my family. The place is big and beautiful. We were seated immediately. Noticed though that the tables were a little law that other places I've been to but somehow it was perfect for my 2 year old girl who prefer to sit in a regular chair rather than a high chair. So... Fast and great service, delicious food, and affordable prices. There's a variety of plates to choose from. You'll leave the restaurant more than satisfied and "in love" with Peruvian food.

Pio Pio has outstanding Latin Food at a very acceptable price. For example the Matador Combo (for 4 people) costs 36 dollars. They do not have a very large menu, but everything on the menu is very good. I live close by so I go there all the time. Their sangria is out of this world and will get you... More

Super Latino cuisine. Four of us on a business dinner. Service was outstanding and very prompt. Cool neighborhood and authentic Peruvian food. Highly recommend and especially nice if you are in the LGA area looking for a great value! Get the sangria !!

My Family and I visited Pio Pio for my children's pre birthday dinner. Food and service was amazing. They offer family style also. I look forward to going back when in N.Y. again.
