Love the Dumplings!

This is diamond in the Flushing rough. You will thoroughly enjoy the pork soup dumplings. The Kung Pao chicken is one of my favorites. The service is included in your check and is usually attentive. Enjoy!

You can bank on an endless supply of decent dumplings for cheap. If your suffering from a hangover the food here will help you recover quick. It had the lobster it's prepared well for te heafty price, satisfying enough. My only pet peeve is the service, not only are you never checked on regarding your meal but you would be... More

Used to be nice but it has gone down over the years. Uninteresting choices and high prices. My meal included tilapia that smelled and tasted like it was moldy and old. Yucch. Tough to find any parking here also.

The soup dumplings are famous for a reason. They are so, so good. Seven of us ate lunch and it was fast, hot, delicious. Just about the best chinese food you can get.

Although it was a busy spring Sunday and the streets of Chinatown were crowded with tourists, we were seated almost immedIatley, sharing a large table with four other people who were pleasant and friendly. In general. The place was mobbed. Service was prompt courteous and correct. The food was excellent. I never had soup dumplings before and could have eaten... More

Decided to eat something small before we headed to another place for lunch. Restaurant was quite busy. We had to share table which is okay. We order 2 sets of steamed pork dumpling. Upon arrival in the bamboo container very fresh and hot. Delicious indeed. Would have ordered more but eating other things. Even the noodle were worth eating. Hopefully... More

The soup dumplings are good. I tried them for the first time in Shanghai. Joe's are not as good, but pretty close. There are a few more appetizers that are worth it, but the main courses are just basic Chinese food you can get anywhere else.

We live close to Joe's Shanghai but don't visit very often for several reasons. The place is nearly always crowded so expect to wait up to half an hour or more for a table. The New York City grade, a measure of cleanliness and health standard compliance, is always a fluctuating low grade. The highest I have ever seen them... More

My wife and I enjoy visiting her old home neighborhood in Flushing Queens. As you may know Flushing has become the new Chinatown in the city. Joe's is one of the first and famous for their dumplings. They have added a branch in old Chinatown and one in the theater district. I found they also have two locations now in... More
