Amore had the best pizza in Queens for many years till one day they decided to change the recipe. When they stopped throwing the dough in oil (no doubt to save money) the crust which had always been golden, soft and delicious, is now more like a cracker than pizza dough. The sauce is tasty, but the cheese now contains... More

Almost every Wednesday, my cousins and sometimes my wife and I travel 20 miles from Long Island to Flushing to visit Heaven. Heaven is Amore Pizzeria. The pizza here is, by far, the best tasting pizza in the world, with its scrumptious sauce and delicious thin crust. The taste is reminiscent of Gloria's pizza back in the 1970s. Amore Pizzeria... The pizza at Amore is unique. It's a bit out of the way, but it's really, really good. It's a classic NY pizzeria, with beautiful thin crust pies. The crust and cheese are good, but the real differentiator is the sauce. It's classic in all senses except that it's got this unique sweetness to it that's hard to describe. It's... More

We love this place because the pizza is always spot on. The sauce is tangy and the crust is thin and crispy and the topping are delish ! Not the mushroom however because it is from a can. The sausage is my favorite. Looks like a dive and the interior is not all that but the Pizza is so work... More

Little hole in the wall with a handful of tables in the rear, located in a shopping center. We had 2 house salads and 2 large pizzas for 7 people. Beer is served. Very reasonable prices.

Average tasting pizza. In a city with millions of pizzerias to chose from service matters.I found the staff here rude and not hospitable and the place cramped and dirty which equals all around failure to me. I won't be back. Doing Business like this im certain they won't be around too much longer.

There would be a debate with someone to say their pizza place is better. It amazes me to visit pizza places throughout the city and see what they do wrong. Compare to amore who does it right. If pizza is your business how could you precook and reheat your pizza. Some places have several pies precooked. Not amore Amore has... More
