My husbandand I have visited few times for dinner and take-out. We were impressed by the authentic Szechuan cuisine. They have a dish of VERY spicy shredded beef that is sure to set your socks on fire. We really enjoyed the tilapia family style, the non-spicy lamb with scallions and the mild spicy chicken. We've also had the home style... More

This busy place on a Flushing side street is one of the best and most authentic Szechuan restaurants I've been to in years, and is almost as good as the best places I frequented regularly in Berkeley, California in the 1970s. I wasn't ready for the many main dishes featuring intestines, but both super-spicy and mildly spicy dishes featuring chicken,... More

My friend and his wife from the Bronx suggested we take a drive over to Flushing and sample some authentic Chinese cusine. The area had a vast selection of Asian restaurants that provided you a choice of Cantonese, Shanghai, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Hunan or Sichuan fare. Our choice this night was frequented by almost all Asian clientele. We were delighted... More

My first experience here was in the summer of 2013. I was so impressed with one dish in particular... a tofu and julienne of celery cold appetizer that was flavored with the famous "ma-lah" Sichuan peppers... it made my mouth come alive with a tingling that I had never before experienced. I was amazed and very impressed. I returned there... More

This restaurant is located in the heart of Flushing, Queens, New York City. Though there is not much fancy decor, the restaurant serves real Sichuan food at very reasonable price. Even if you are not a spicy food lover, there are many non-spicy tasty food on the menu. The vegetarian can also enjoy some of their signature dishes. It is... More

My wife and myself eat here at least once every 2 weeks. The food is just as good as it can be. It is authentic Sichaun cuisine and is spicy and tasty. Staff is friendly and food is well worth the trip!

I visited this restaurant around 3 months ago. The main impression just follows its name: spicy. For a typical Szechuan person who grows up with peppers, this restaurant is great. However, for most people, even Chinese people who loves spicy food, it is a little too much. Secondly, the food there might not be so clean. I remembered that I... More

The name tells pretty much. Even Chinese spicy food is usually so so in American "sweet" environment, but this Sichuan restaurant really get the essential part of the spicy food. You really need to prepare a lot of water to quench the "fire" which actually make you want more. I will recommend beef in chili sauce but not the noodles.... More

We went to this restaurant based off a travel book recommendations. The restaurant was average in appearance for a location in Chinatown. Food was far below average. My chicken was not fresh, tasted old and rubbery. Spinach was rather bland. Beef was spicy, but flavorless. Thanks, but no thanks Spicy & Tasty.

Nice atmosphere and, in our case, friendly and helpful service. Some of the dishes were good, some were outstanding. The fish w/sour cabbage soup was delicate and tasty, the dried beef (or was it lamb?) lived up to its "spicy" billing, and the sauteed spinach and sauteed bok choy were the best ever. Very good, but not as good as... More
