Good almost great

Nice setting. But a large party was very loud in the side room. The food was fresh and prepared well. I would have liked to see a variety of pasta dishes that were vegetarian. Dessert was just ok. The cappuccino was sub par. Service was done well minus they forgot to give me my leftovers. I doubt... read more

Went here for a romantic birthday dinner. We heard the great reviews, saw it was rated on zagat as one of the top restaurants in westchester and the Hudson valley.... And let me tell you it does not disappoint! I had the Bellini Cocktail- so light and refreshing. Expertly mixed and so good. We have the mozzarella in carozza and... More

I don't get to visit here that often, but when I do, it is always a very nice experience. Scott, the host and Tony, the bartender are always gracious and friendly. Tony recommended a great dry white wine for me. I had the zucchini flowers appetizer which was better than the same appetizer than I had in Boston's North End... More

Our waitress was extremely helpful and knowledgeable Service was faultless The food was as well prepared as in any restaurant I have eaten in and the menu is varied. there were several specials. I tried an appetizer and main course special. Both really were special. The only fault was the noise level being a little to high. Overall a great... More

We went on saturday and had good experience. Fish was good, friends had pasta with bolognese and lamb chops. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. Staff was friendly and knowledgable. On this saturday, they only accepted reservations for groups larger than 5 so go early if you have a smaller party. I would definitely recommend it and hope to dine there again.

We drove up from NYC to visit family and our parents have eaten here before but it was my first time. We had a waitress "in training" but she provided excellent service. in addition, w all noticed that she was immaculate in dress, hair and manner. Now the food...The bread came with a dip of homemade Ricotta cheese and was... More

This place was one of two owned by the same people. The creatice cooking has made it an interesting place to eat at along with the extensive wine list and superior wait staff. You are well taken care of here and although it can be pricy, it is a unique culinary experience. Try it. Northern Italian Food at its best.

This is the best Italian-American in Fishkill. It is hard to find true authentic Italian dishes in this restaurant but they do a nice job for what they do. Nice atmosphere and service.

It had been several years since I ate at Il Barilotto. I shouldn't allow so much time to pass next time! Each year, my partner and I drive from Washington, DC, to Poughkeepsie for a college graduation event. After the event, we have dinner at a nice restaurant. We ate here several years and thought we'd try it again. We... More
