I use to go to Fishkill for business and use to go here once every visit. Then I would go home and tell my wife about it. The reason for my trips to Fishkill ended a few years ago and I haven't been back. Then I had to drive my wife and mother-in-law to NYC. I had to get them... read more

Always a good meal. Nice Quit atmosphere but parking is a problem at times. Try the Fritto Misto. You won't be disappointed.

We went at lunch time. It was quiet day, and we had it to ourselves. The service was great, the food was phenominal, and the wine list is very nice. I had the eggplant. It was beautiful. But my favorite part of the meal was the duck pate plate, and the salad with beets, greens, walnuts and lentils with some... More

In thinking about my meal with colleagues four days ago, it speaks volumes that I have very little recollection of the meal I had. I do know that I found it hard to find something to whet my appetite and accept that given my simple tastes, it may all have been beyond me but as these are my experiences, they... More

First time there. Greeted quickly and friendly. Food was very good. Had grilled octopus appetizer- outstanding. All of the pasta dishes are available in appitizer portions--nice feature to try something- we tried papadrelle pasta with duck ragu which was delicious. Main meat coures we enjoyed a 16 oz veal chop /rasoto cake and asparagus --duck breast with blueberries, farro, and... More

This is a charming restaurant in lovely downtown Fishkill. I was dining with my nephew and his wife while visiting them. They are regular customers at Il Barilotto and were recognized and warmly greeted by the staff. Service was attentive and cocktails and bread were served promptly. Our waiter thoroughly described the specials. My nephew ordered an appetizer special and... More

We knew the wait would be long...almost one hour on a Saturday night but worth it so we had some drinks to keep us busy. Anyone have a Negroni? Great Florence drink and the bartender did it very well. Dinner was very good as well as the service. No room for dessert. A bit pricey? Yes but worth it. Although... More

The food was amazing as was the service. Especially on Easter Sunday. I had duck breast and my wife had salmon. Both of agreed that our dinner was excellent. The restaurant was a little loud as we sat in the area where the bar and part of the dinning room are. Still it was great

We were a group of four for Friday lunch. Everyone enjoyed the food. The pappardelle with duck ragu would have been a 10+ if it had a touch less salt, but still very, very good. The regular spaghetti and the pasta special were both reported as very good by my friends, and the fourth person in our party raved about... More

Did lunch with friend on a weekday. First of all, the chiabatta bread is fabulous when smeared with the creamy whipped ricotta and EVOO spread provided. Both my friend and I ordered appetizer portions of pasta. I had the pappardelle with duck ragu and my friend had the simple spaghetti with cherry tomatoes, basil, garlic and olive oil. Both were...
