Great wine, great food, great ambiance. Usually a wide selection of oysters, creative cuisine. Comfortable dining room, cozy bar, large deck. We always love to eat here.

Local spot that never disappoints. The addition of two new booths in the "fireplace" room provides a bit more seating for the cosy bistro where it can be difficult to get a table. I am unsure of the policy for reserving a table since it varies from season to season. I was told you can now "call ahead" to reserve....wine... More

We went here for our 23rd anniversary and were not disappointed. This is truly one of the finest restaurants in the Syracuse area. I had a filet mignon that was so tender it melted in my mouth. The service was also outstanding; always there but never annoying. We will definitejy be back again and again! If you like fine dining,... More

I have been to Arad Evans several times and experienced lovely fine dining in their indoor restaurant but it was lovely for a change to sit outside and have a somewhat simpler menu. Food is cooked to order and excellent whether you are take the patio menu or the fine dinging one....Syracuse is NOT a culinary mecca, so finding good... More

My wife and I enjoyed another well prepared and presented meal. Fine selection of food from Kobe beef to Sea Bass. My wife ordered the Petite cheese plate as an app. It was overflowing with cheeses and extras. My Sea Bass was cooked moist, not over cooked and dry. Save room for dessert. A foodie delight.

Enjoyable meal with my husband for our anniversary. Prices were consistent with other upscale restaurants in the area, and the old house is more than charming for a restaurant setting. The girl who took care of us was friendly and inviting.

Dinner for three last week was, as always, a very pleasant experience at the Arad Evans. The atmosphere has a nice low-volume buzz, but you can hear your dinner companions without shouting. By the way, the food and service are very fine, and the consistency is excellent. A great resource in a little village. They feature local products in season... More

For a special night out or even for just an amazing meal with excellent service, this is the place to go. The lighting in this surprisingly decent sized restaurant makes every outing here feel more intimate, and the attentive service makes you always feel like a valued patron. Exciting variations on classics and an amazing meal every time. A Syracuse... More

My wife and I have made it a habit to dine here several times a year. We have never been disappointed. the food is always prepared as ordered and the service exceptional. I had the Blue Point Oysters and they were shucked perfectly. No shell pieces at all. the cheese platter is inspiring. I had the Shrimp Provencal. The sauce... More

For more formal, dress-up evenings, you may enjoy the dining rooms. For my tastes, dressed-up or casual, I prefer the bistro. The staff is always friendly and professional. Also, DO NOT MISS THE SEA SCALLOPS. My girlfriend, who has traveled all over the world, says they are the best she's ever had. I couldn't agree more.
