Everyone should have a hometown restaurant with good food, friendly service, and a community 'feel'. For us this is Riki's. From the paintings and watercolors by local artists to the period pictures of old Fairport and the canalboat and truck models you now that this is not a 'chain' restaurant that was dropped here. The food is very good and... More

Old diner with a very local feel to it. Went twice. The first waitress was very stoic but I wont hold it against her. The second was very pleasant and social. The food was good but not amazing. I think the reviews set my expectations high and being from the New York City area, I am probably spoiled by quality... More

I didn't actually get to try their food, as their staff was so rude I left before we even sat down. I wouldn't suggest going on the weekend/brunch time, as they are too busy to take the time to listen to you.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years. The food is always delicious. The menu has kept up with the times and the atmosphere and service are always warm and welcoming. Riki's is a home town hero!

Altho my dad and my husband's parents really like it here, I find it to be average diner fare at a reasonable price. I think I need to try breakfast.

If you love small, homey places that serve decent diner-style food, this is it. You might have to push the regulars out of the way to get a seat, but it's worth it. Serve lunch and dinner, too, but it's breakfast for me...

We got here on a Sunday morning. It was busy - a short wait (10 mins) till we were seated. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Reminds my of an east-coast diner, with liberal use of oil when cooking. Very popular with locals - obviously they appreciate this business.

Fairport is home and Riki's is THE place to go for a real feel of family, village pride and the best breakfast in western NY. It is a classic Greek -owned family diner-restaurant where the staff and family recognize you after a couple of visits and make you feel at home. The menu is home cooking and good. It is... More
