There was more to chose from than a typical bar. Food was great. Service was great. Seating was dark but it's on old building. Outdoor seating available. We sat in the corner of the bar and it was hot, but I would recommend!

Leisurely Sunday lunch. Good disability access. Party of four. I chose the Buffalo Chicken Pierogie Salad ($10.99) featuring Mr. Pierogie Guy’s Buffalo chicken pierogies tossed in hot (my choice) wing sauce, served over romaine with celery sticks, and crumbled blue cheese. This takeoff on Buffalo Wings was delicious. The four pierogies were tender and moist, the sauce hot, and the... More

High recommendation for Donnelly's. We arrived on a crowded Friday evening. All efforts were made to give us the seating we preferred. Not a long wait, and a very pleasant hostess. Food was excellent. Swordfish salad was very good, but the piece of swordfish was perhaps only two ounces… a very small triangular wedge. Service was prompt. We will return.

The food was not good and the service was worse. I ordered a burger and the bun was so soggy it fell apart and the meat tasted bad. I never send my food back for fear of what I might get back (thanks to the movie Waiting lol) but this was not edible. When I complained the manager came over... More

Stopped in on a beautiful Saturday night around 9:30 pm and the place was jammed. We were told about a 25 minute wait so we stayed. 8 minutes later we were seated. So far so good. Ordered a couple of drafts from their really solid and expansive selection. So far very good. Two of us ordered the boar burger with... More

Good bar for beer of many different varieties. I've never eaten here but the popularity of the place has to tell me that the food must be very good. I'll try to schedule a time to eat here too. I usually go into this bar for a beer or two before going next door for the pizza.

We have dinner or lunch here several times a month. Their daily specials are always something different and creative. The St. Patrick's Day breakfast (advance purchase tickets only) is a family tradition.

My wife and teenage daughter wanted to go out after I had a long day of work. I was hesitant. I told them I didn't want to shave my 3 day old beard. I wanted good pub food and good beer. Trip advisor led us to our first time to Donnelly's. Perfect choice. Great food. Great beer. Friendly environment and... More

I went by this cute out-of-the-way place last summer while cycling along the Erie Canal. I was determined to come back and check it out. We finally went in November 2013 for dinner. The food and service was average. Its biggest negative for me was the limited menu. I was hoping for more interesting Irish-themed food. On the positive side,... More

Favorite restaurant in Fairport. Food is always good, and the draft beer selection is the best in the area.
