I was very afraid walking into this long in the tooth restaurant in the village of Elmsford. There was a musty odor to greet us at the front door and valances on the windows that looked like they were hung 20 years ago and haven't been moved since. All that said, the food was really delicious. My lentil soup (of... More

Not much more to be said. If you ever end up there, the food is good enough. The staff was very good.

Alaroma is a neighborhood restaurant that serves delicious Italian food. It offers several specialties of the house which are really good including two chicken dishes: scarpariello, pisano. You cannot go wrong with either of these choices. Of course, the restaurant also serves many of the traditional dishes one would find on a typical Italian menu as well.

Friendly atmosphere, attentive waiter staff and huge menu. We had salmon with shrimp in brown sauce, delicious. Calamari could have been a little more crispy but was still good. Two at the table had fresh spinach pasta with chicken & sausage. They both cleaned their plates. Other dish was chicken marsala that was excellent. Wine was lovely and dessert was... More

I was introduced to Alaroma about a year ago. A friend highly recommended it. I must tell you . . . the food is absolutely fantastic. The chicken Scarparo (sp?) was cooked to perfection and had just the right about of spice. The salad was great, as well.

A'Mangiare is a great restaurant for families, couples, parties, etc. The food is delicious, and the staff is very accomodating. The food is made fresh however you want it prepared and the menu is extensive. The specials are always a good choice! A'Mangiare's Lobster Ravioli is the best.Try the pomegranite martini!!

Alaroma was still pretty good because they must have had some of the same cooks as the previous owners, Gaulins. That was a gem. People who had never ate while it was Gaulins will find it acceptable.

Great food and service in a quaint location. Marinara sauce almost as good as my Italian grandmother's. Highly recommend Chicken Sorrentino and Linguine with clam sauce. Nice bar area and staff impeccably dressed. Service from waiter and bus person top notch

The food was very good but a little over priced. The service was another story we waited 20 minutes just to get our drinks and over an hour for our food to come that is just unacceptable
