Great Chicken, Skip the Ribs

This has long been the go-to place for roasted chicken and coleslaw. Everybody should try it. But, avoid the ribs at all costs! Rubber, undercooked, off-flavored bbq sauce, just an all around poor rib. And we tried them on two different occasions. The chicken is great though, so try it! The... read more

Then you will love Curly's! Hometown, local type of place, that make strangers feel welcome. They serve more than chicken and everything (including breakfast) is fresh and delicious. Check it out!

Won't go again for supper. Slow, inattentive service for only so so chicken. Breakfast is good (though fairly high priced) and Amy is great.

Limited menu - exclusively chicken and chicken-related. But the atmosphere is friendly, family-like and the pricing very reasonable. And the chicken is very good.

My grandfather goes to Curly's for breakfast nearly every week, and often dinner that same week. He's loved the place for over 40 years, and it's a must hit when I'm home to visit. Super friendly service, and great prices. Not the healthiest place, but lots of great options!

Curly's chicken is absolutely delicious. Many meals to choose from and great sides. Prices are really reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

On our way home for NY City up the amazing HWY 17 and we decided to stop in Elmira for a stretch and some lunch. Tams spotted Curly's and the parking lot was full at 2:30 ON Monday - the locals must like it. This is old school eating out of the 70s and the prices are from the 70s... More

Very nice place to eat! Very reasonable prices! My Grandmother worked there many many years ago loved it then, and all these years later still love the place! It has been 34 years since the passing of my Grandmother, and hard to believe even after all these years the family atmosphere still remains solid!! Thank you Curly's for the continued... More
