When you enter Lib's, you leave the 21st century behind. The decor is late fifties early sixties with lots of photos of celebs and gangsters. The portions are more than plentiful. I had the veal Marsala--an unusual treatment with cream and mushrooms and an appropriate hint of Marsala over a breaded crispy veal cutlet that occupied the entire plate. It... More

We have been several times and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious, and the portions are huge. We already have 2 more visits planned in the near future. Very, very good.

This is by far the best restaurant in the Elmira area... If not this part of the state....or the whole state. We went to our first Ruth's Chris for a filet recently and could not believe Libs was SO much better!! The portions are enormous, the prices are the same as a restaurant that only gives you an 8 oz... More

I just chuckle at some of the comments slamming Libs. Down here in what most people call heaven...Orlando Florida u can't find a restaurant that is this good much less family owned. For what is offered on the menu Orlando offers nothing for the size of the portions and the price..as for decor during my travels the best restaurants rarely... More

We eat at Lib's often and have never had a bad meal. Whether it's a couple dining or a group of 50, Lib's food and service is top shelf. Our family favorite is the Shrimp Scampi which is out of this world delicious. The décor of Lib's is interesting with the walls full of pictures and autographs of celebrities. Lib's... More

I like to come here for business meetings. When you arrive you notice the place is a throw-back to a real supper club. The bar is dark and the bartender who has been there for quite awhile is terrible. Doesn't smile, will make people ask for a drink..looks put out if he needs to work...point is go there for the... Lib's never disappoints. I know that if I'm visiting the Elmira area, Lib's is on my list of places to eat. I've never had a bad meal yet. The filet cuts like butter. The Fish Down Under is the bomb. And the service is acceptable. If you're looking for ambiance, this isn't the place for you. But if you're looking... More

Just by chance we stumbled on to Lib's Supper Club while visiting the Finger Lakes region of New York State, and it was a wonderful experience. We walked in to this very large restaurant, broken up into smaller rooms, and felt like we walked into the restaurants we see in old Italian movies. The decor was dark, the lights were... More
