We found out about this place via something related to the US Open tennis tournament. Have visited it now 2 or 3 times over the last 5 or 6 years and it has always been great! The Avocado Salad with shrimp is to die for (two of us split it), the sangria is always good, and the steak is great... More

We were just going get a steak & chimichurri sauce for my cousin to try but the owner Steven was very welcoming & friendly so we decided to stay. We had a dinner meeting in 3 hours so we really didn't want to eat too much. We got skirt streaks & was cooked perfectly. Potatoes & Spinach were okay side... More

I live in the neighborhood and always enjoy the grilled meat at La Fusta, I usually have an empanada and/ or a wonderful salad to accompany my short ribs. There are many dishes that are Italian based because of the huge influx of Italians to Argentina. However Argentina has its own cuisine. The staff is friendly and the service is... More

This place has a great selection of hearty Argentine dishes - overall excellent gem. Try the berro salad and don't miss the chori pan.

Not only is this place scrumptious with their food but the staff is kind, efficient, and accommodating. Just plain nice!! I highly recommend their empanadas meat and the chicken ones are delicious as well! Their gnocchi in a white cream sauce is the best thing I've ever tasted in my life. Their potatoes whether mashed or fried are superb!! And... More

Made the effort to find this restaurant during April 2013 with my wife whilst on holiday from the UK. We were made really welcome by all the staff despite us probably being the only UK visitors in there. We both had steaks mine being the chefs special and it was worth all the effort to get there. One of the... More

This was our first time, but our friend who recommended this place and had dinner with us that evening is a regular client for many years, and according to her, this is one of the last old style and top quality Argentinean restaurants in NY, managed by an Argentinean family. The restaurant is nice, clean and comfortable, the staff has... More

La Fusta is an Argentinian restaurant specializing in meats of every variety. We enjoy the skirt steak which comes with a side vegetable and the most addictive chimichurri sauce we've ever tasted! Mashed potatoes, sauteed spinach with garlic, or broccoli with garlic are amazing. The grilled pork chop is succulent, moist, and unbelievably tender. We've also tried the mixed grill....generous portion which serves two -... I cannot recommend this place any better. This is by far the best Argentinian restaurant in the entire NYC. It is a little far from the regular places most tourists go but if you have time it is worth the trip. My favorites dishes are the gnochi, the skirt stake and the parrillada (a mixed grill). I have tried also... More
