What a treat to find this Thai storefront eatery. The small and unassuming decor, and the somewhat surly staff were soon forgotten once we sank our teeth into the Mango Seafood salad [hot hot hot], fried calamari [which looked like octopus legs"]. The choices and combinations are extensive. We had Tamarind Duck, crispy, not a drop of fat, sweet and... More

Almost everything that I have had here is great. The noodle dishes are awesome as it the green papaya salad and the curries. The good news is that they deliver (see seamless)!

I came last night with a couple of friends and I'm so impressed with the quality and price they have. The flavors are very authentic and very well balanced! All dishes are so well done!. Try the Pad cha with crispy duck and the coconut pudding. Definitely coming back here!

This has become our default restaurant on weekends, and since we dine out only once a week, that means a lot! You are basically turning down many restaurant options in NY to go here. On another note, my teenager, who is a pad thai fiend, never even bothers to order it here...there are many more exciting options. The panang curry... More

Ayada is the original thai restaurant in Elmhurst. The food is great, ask for the duck it is amazing. The pad thai is great and so are all the appetizers. They only accept cash, and during the evening lines extend out the door. The service can be spotty during busy nights.

I grew up in this neighborhood and had been living out of the country the past 8 years. I was pleasantly surprised to see the many great eats that have popped up in the area. This one in particular is a standout. I ate there 3 times in that week that I was in town! First solo, then the other... More

This place doesn’t have much in the way of ambiance. There are about a dozen tables. The bottom half of the walls are dark wood and the top half lime green adorned with some small old photos of the Thai Royal family. There is a flat screen tv high up in one corner. The ambiance at another Thai restaurant across... More

Found this place using tripadvisor and must say it is all it's said to be. The crispy catfish salad was fantastic and flavorful and the red curry was tasty. The crispy duck was a bit dry and the pad kei mao with crispy pork was a good mix of noodles, meat and veg. The lychee martini was one of the... More

4 of us went to celebrate my husbands birthday. Excellent food. It's small, and it was packed, so it was noisy, but we had fun!

No wonder they were top rated by NY Magazine in ALL of New York, not just Queens. Had Thai, here, and at a place in the East Village in the same week. EV: loud, pricey, packed with loud drunkard yuppies who think screaming and shouting is a good night out. Food, OK. AYADA: comfortable, expertly prepared. I ordered mine too... More
