This place offers a big choice of authentic Thai food. They also had 3 specials. Fish cake was yummy, same style as you would get in one of the many small restaurants in Bangkok. Main was tiger prawns Penang style which was fantastic. The crispy catfish salad was good, but it did not hit the spot. Yet overall highly recommended.

I've heard that the food is good at Ayada Thai Restaurant so we gave it a shot. The restaurant is a small hole in the wall restaurant. Don't expect to see a fancy set up. It's down to earth plain decor and wooden tables chairs. Now for the most important topic.... the food. The food is very good. Not to... More

We went there for lunch and tried Chicken Wings and Pat Thai. The chicken wings were very deep fried and did not taste good. The Pat Thai tasted OK but was quite messy and did not look as a Thai dish from Thailand. Try Thainy instead. Will not come back.

What a treat to find this Thai storefront eatery. The small and unassuming decor, and the somewhat surly staff were soon forgotten once we sank our teeth into the Mango Seafood salad [hot hot hot], fried calamari [which looked like octopus legs"]. The choices and combinations are extensive. We had Tamarind Duck, crispy, not a drop of fat, sweet and... More

Almost everything that I have had here is great. The noodle dishes are awesome as it the green papaya salad and the curries. The good news is that they deliver (see seamless)!

I came last night with a couple of friends and I'm so impressed with the quality and price they have. The flavors are very authentic and very well balanced! All dishes are so well done!. Try the Pad cha with crispy duck and the coconut pudding. Definitely coming back here!

This has become our default restaurant on weekends, and since we dine out only once a week, that means a lot! You are basically turning down many restaurant options in NY to go here. On another note, my teenager, who is a pad thai fiend, never even bothers to order it here...there are many more exciting options. The panang curry... More

Ayada is the original thai restaurant in Elmhurst. The food is great, ask for the duck it is amazing. The pad thai is great and so are all the appetizers. They only accept cash, and during the evening lines extend out the door. The service can be spotty during busy nights.

I grew up in this neighborhood and had been living out of the country the past 8 years. I was pleasantly surprised to see the many great eats that have popped up in the area. This one in particular is a standout. I ate there 3 times in that week that I was in town! First solo, then the other... More

This place doesn’t have much in the way of ambiance. There are about a dozen tables. The bottom half of the walls are dark wood and the top half lime green adorned with some small old photos of the Thai Royal family. There is a flat screen tv high up in one corner. The ambiance at another Thai restaurant across... More
